Tuna-Avocado Pitas on a plate

Tuna-Avocado Pitas

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Makes: two stuffed pita halves

Ingredients

can tuna

1

 

cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1

 

T olive oil

2

 

tsp balsamic vinegar

¼

 

tsp salt

¼

 

tsp pepper

½

 

avocado, diced

1

 

whole-wheat or gluten-free pita, halved

Directions

  1. Toss halved cherry tomatoes with 1 T olive oil in a skillet and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Toss cooked tomatoes with tuna, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.
  3. Spoon mixture into pita halves and top with diced avocado.
