Twisted Bread Sticks

cups Farmgirl Budget Mix
|

T cold butter, cut into ½-inch pieces

cup buttermilk

T olive oil

cup fresh herbs, chopped (thyme, rosemary, basil, dill, etc.)

cup Parmesan cheese, grated
|
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a medium bowl, cut butter into Farmgirl Budget Mix.
- Combine buttermilk and budget mixture to form dough. Turn onto a floured board and form into a rectangle that is ¼-inch thick.
- Brush top with olive oil and sprinkle with herbs and cheese. Cut rectangle into 1-inch wide strips. Twist each piece into a long bread stick shape and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Press ends of bread sticks to pan to prevent shrinkage.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
