Corn & Bacon Chowder

Directions
- Sauté 1 diced onion, 1 diced bell pepper, and 1 stalk diced celery in 3 T butter.
- Add 3 T flour and stir for 3 minutes. Then, add 5 slices diced bacon and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add 3 cups frozen corn kernels, ½ t ground cumin, ½ t cayenne, and ½ t paprika and 5 cups chicken stock. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Stir in 1 cup heavy cream; cook for 5 minutes. Add salt to taste.
