Neti Pot
I'm a respiratory therapist as well as an allergy sufferer, and I recently discovered nasal washing using a "neti pot" to combat allergies, breathing problems, and sinus infections. It is wonderful! It takes a few tries to get the hang of it, but it's super easy and effective. You can find ceramic neti pots at health food stores, pharmacies, and at www.herbspro.com for about $10. For further allergy relief, I also use stinging nettle, which is a natural antihistamine and works fantastically.
