Old-Fashioned Oilcloth Tablecloth
What you’ll need:

· Cotton Fabric
|
· Plywood (the size of your fabric)
|
· Thumbtacks
|
· Linseed Oil
|
· Paint Brush
|
· Basic Sewing Supplies
|
- Lay fabric, right side up, on plywood. Use tacks along fabric edges to hold fabric taut.
- Brush on linseed oil with thin, even, strokes. Let dry. (Note: Linseed oil is combustible; closely follow all cleanup precautions and directions provided on product container.)
- Brush on 4–6 additional layers, letting cloth dry thoroughly between coats.
- Remove from board, trim edges, and hem as desired.
