· Long Cardboard Strips
|

- Find a vintage globe made of cardboard. It will have a seam around the center. Cut along the seam with a utility knife, going around twice to cut all the way through (wear heavy gloves for safety).

- Find a vintage lamp with a top spindle. Your globe will already have a hole in the top for its stand. Attach one of the globe halves to the lamp.

- Cut ¾″ strips of cardboard and glue to the globe just inside the bottom rim to provide backing for adding fringe.

- Attach fringe and/or beads using a glue gun.
