I found out about MaryJanesFarm magazine at the book store. I was looking for a magazine that was different and worthwhile at the same time (good luck, I thought), and your Apron Issue caught my eye. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR MAGAZINE!!! I must admit, sewing and crafting are my favorite things about MaryJane, but I have purchased your BakeOver starter kit and just love it too. She is a guide back to a slower-paced time in my life that I miss.
I entered your Pinkeeper Contest and just had a ball with that. Keep us going with your wonderful publication. I will be attending our newly formed Farmgirl Chapter this Friday night for our first meeting, and we are all excited about that. Thanks for The Farmgirl Connection too!

I finished my first issue of your magazine last night and can’t wait to read the rest, as well as MaryJane’s book. I’m in farmgirl heaven! Thank you for creating such a peaceful place to connect and dream.
Best wishes,
Dana
When I got home and opened the magazine, I was immediately transfixed. Speechless. Silent and introspective. This took my breath away. This was it. I didn’t know what it was, but I knew I had stumbled onto something. Something big.

I’m a U.S. Marine stationed in Iraq, and I wanted to let y’all know that farmgirls are all over the world! I may be at war, but I am a farmgirl at heart. One day, I would like to help teach people how to not only till the land, but keep it too. If I get back in 2008 like I’m supposed to, the bookstore is one of the first places I’m going, so I can see what I’ve been missing!
Take care

Dear MaryJane,
About a year ago I bought your Ideabook, Cookbook, Lifebook, and I just wanted you to know that I’ve read it many times, each time finding new things to try and enjoy. My husband and I and our three children live in the country on an acre we bought from the state for only $1,000, and I’ve got my first garden growing. I have a best friend who has three kids the same ages as mine, and she and I now get together and sew or bake or can. We’re both 100% old-time farmgirls searching for lost secrets of the women who wore the aprons that cleaned the noses of the generations before us. When I found your book, it was almost like I found a piece of myself that I knew was there but didn’t know how to express. You and your book have been such a gift! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Your farmgirl friend
Kori
