Hi Ceejay and Sisters,
I bought through Amazon.com Staedtler Triplus finliner 36 Brilliant colors made in Germany.(I am finding however the cap color is not the true color of ink so you have to use a test sheet of paper) and of course I want more colors. I already had a set of Yesterday's News Colored Pencils from Home Goods store I had from a few years ago. I can see just as in any hobby one can expand their supplies. It reminds me of embroidery threads...you just need one more color here and there.
Good days to you all.
Annie

I have the Avian Friends Activity Journal that I bought last year--you can color, draw your own pictures, create conversations among the birds, journal, water-color---I love it. I also bought the Art Nouveau Animal Designs coloring book at Michael's this year and I'd like to do some embroidery based on it. as well as color. I'm amazed by the complexity of the designs and there's no limit to your creativity. Art is good for the soul.

Girls...go back up to my last post...I added my First Picture out of My New Inspirational
Coloring Book.

It was fun...but not my best choice of Color Combinations. I Enjoyed doing it however...
so that is all that really matters.

Hugs,

I have been enjoying my coloring book, too. If I am having trouble falling asleep at night, I get up and spend a little time "coloring" and it just seems to soothe everything away.

Founds some "Shading" colored pencils at Walmart . . . they are short and not really spectacular, but there are a few extra colors. They'll do for now . . .

Peggy,
There wasn't much else at our Walmart other than the 24-pk of Crayola pencils which I already have. I hope to be able to look at Office Depot in another city when we have to go for dr. appt. in a couple weeks. Saw a wonderful set of pencils on Amazon . . . but they are $60.00. Can't do that!
So, we'll see!

I bought the 24 pack of colored Crayola pencils at WalMart today. They didn't have the shading pencils. I think I will like the pencils a lot better than the markers.

Wow Cj...$60.00 is very steep. I saw a brand new set at BnN today and it was $29.99 and came in a nice
Metal carrying case...but I though $30.00 was steep. I am sure I have spent more than 60.00 on my various
pencils and pens but not all at once and I would rather have a good variety than spend a lot on one kind.
I think the most I spent is 16.99 for my largest set but most between 4.99-9.99. I still want to find shading
pencils...so I will be checking those out soon.

I will post another picture I finished today in my Daphne's Dairy Coloring Book...later tonight.

Hugs and Happy Coloring,
Peggy

I have the Secret Garden Coloring Book, I found at "The Book Depository", I buy most all my books from them, they have the lowest prices, almost always! Free shipping! Worldwide.
I found some fine tip markers at Hobby lobby. The tip is small as a sewing needle almost. I have not had a chance to color yet.

I got my book last fall! LOL!! When Lily June gets old enough, we can color together! May be that long before I can ! LOL!!! I always colored with Holly and my God-Children in the kids coloring books. It is relaxing!

Peggs , I love the O Holy Night Book!

Annika...I save all the Pinterest Coloring Pages I like also. Like I said, I am fairly picky about my Coloring
Books and I know one day I will run out of Good Ones...then I will be printing those Coloring Pages I saved. LOL

Connie...goodness girlfriend...don't wait until Lily June is old enough to Color. Start now...you will find that
it will help with your MS. Anything we can to do to "Relax" our muscles, our mind/from Stress, and Feed our Soul is
highly Therapeutic. MS is so much like Fibro and I can attest to the fact that Relaxation is key to feeling better.

Cj...I really like the looks of the Water Color pencils/pens myself (the bird picture above). It gives the picture
a softer look when completed.

Happy Coloring,
Peggy

Well, ladies . . . I'm not impressed with the shading pencils. Yes, they will do okay with lighter shading, but not very good if you want dark or bright! Good thing I didn't spend much on them . .

Thanks for the info, CeeJay. I like the Crayola colored pencils I got - they were $6.97 at walMart for 50 of them.
