While visiting my sister last month she and my niece surprised me with a coloring book, some pencils and markers

I had an appt. in another city yesterday and was able to find the box of 50 Crayola coloring pencils in their Walmart! YAY!
Much smaller Walmart, but better stocked with this sort of thing than ours . . :/ However, no more shades of purple/lavender, but more shades of other colors!

Prisma colored pencils for my coloring pages. They come in wonderful colors. But lots of things Orkney. Just have fun!

Nice Vanessa!!! Can't wait to see a few more of your pictures. I now have about 6 or 7 Coloring Books that I really think are top notch.
I carry them all in a big tote bag with all my pencils and markers...and then if I know I am
going to Barnes and Noble I just grab my bag and I'm off. Then I can color in which ever book
draws my interest for the day. Tonight I started coloring in one of my Johanna Basford coloring
books (her latest Ocean One) and I did a Jelly fish using metalic pencils (which I normally love)
but it was just too heavy of a look for a jelly fish. But what do you do once you've committed
to the pencil type??? You have to finish at least that one odd looking jelly fish. LOL But I
have decided that I will do the other 4 or 5 with my water-color pencils & brush because they
will be see through like a jelly fish actually is. Live and learn by our mistakes right girls?

I do agree with you Bonnie...but I have to admit when I could have made a better
choice! LoL But it is all FUN and we can each do what floats our boat. And yes,
that means we can even Color Outside the lines...just for the FUN OF IT!!! (+:

Julie...My Favorite are the Three Johanna Basford Coloring Books. She is a great Color Artist.
You can order them through Barnes and Noble or Amazon.

I love these books! My husband bought one for me of Owls. I adore it and so relaxing while I am listening to a movie or just wanting to unwind. I won't fib either, it's nice to have something of mine that I don't have to share with the Little Bits once in a while. Just a little thought, I dip my colored pencils in water and they color with the look of water paints. Something a bit different to try if you like playing.

Here's my "Christmas Angel". This is actually a pattern for something else in a Gooseberry Patch Christmas project book. As soon as I saw it I thought it would make a great coloring page, so I made a few copies of it. I love angels and thought this one was pretty darned cute!

I found this coloring sheet online, and colored it with the meager selection of pencils in my desk, but it turned out well.

I went to download several of my Christmas Coloring Pages...but I guess I haven't transfered
them from my phone yet. I will do that later and then post them.
Does anyone else still get frustrated over not having enough colors??? I have oodles of different
pens, pencils, water-color pens, and on and on...but it drives me nuts that no one seems to do a
pkg with flesh-tones, or whites or sky blue etc. Share your ideas or whines or answers to this
problem for the rest of us.
Color On and do like CJ and find some cute Christmas Pages. They make you feel HAPPY just to color
them and share!!!!
