It's 25/windy/gray, with a snowstorm warning out until late tomorrow night! Could get 4-8 inches...lucky us! *whistle-whistle*...here spring....

43 degrees at night!! and pouring!!! it shouldn't be raining it should be snowing i went outside a little while ago and it smells like a summer rain
weather man says this is gonna turn to snow tonite and into fri & sat
my poor chickies are getting wet, i hope they don't float away (i know chickens don't float)
whenever the weather man (or woman) thinks they know what the weather is going to be like
mother nature lets them know she has the final word. especially this winter

I am so thinking about all you farmgirls up in the New Englad area right now. All that snow ya'll are getting! I hope ya'll stay warm and that your power stays on. It looks SO COLD up there. And stay sake, too. There are trees falling all over.
It's so cold here my heater went into auxilliary mode and won't shut off. But at least we don't have snow. We could get some early next week. I can't rmrember such a cold winter. Or else I'm just getting older.

Yes, Kristin, it is NASTY today. Cold, blowing, ice-y and snowing. I am a New Englander transplanted from the Southwest, and feeling veeeerrrrryy homesick today. Nice thing is schools are closed so I have my DD with me, but am worried about my DH driving to work and back!
You stay warm, too.

I just talked to my hubby and he's in Syracuse. They shut him down because of the snow. He said the sky is blue and sunny so maybe he'll be able to leave soon. But not for home. To Virginia.
Nicole, I hope your hubby stays safe while driving. Good thing school's out.

Hunker down girls! Stay warm and stay (IN) when possible. Drink something ~hot~. We have light snow and lots of wind today.29. Brrrrrr We "so lovingly received" about 5" of new snow the past couple of days. At least it wasn't the 8" they called for. ~whew~ The roads are all clear by now too.

Nicole,
What did the weather do in Sandy Hook this weekend? Here in Berlin it snowed but it melted as it hit the ground. This morning there was about one inch of snow in the grass but nothing on the blacktop, My poor hubby sitting here with snow plows on the trucks and ready to go but nothing to plow! I felt like we were in the middle of a donut snow storm, snowing all around us and we were the hole in the middle!

Sunburn yesterday, fire in the woodstove tonight. Springtime weather in Middle TN is nothing if not unpredictable!

Shari, how did you get sunburned and I am freezing? It actually did not get too awfully cold last night but yesterday was so cold. I have probably asked you before, but where in middle Tn. are you, Shari? I am right below Chatt. in N. Ga. about 20 miles from the Tn. line.
I hope everyone is ok up in all that snow. And that ya'll don't get any more of it. My hubby finally got out of NY but it was rough going for him. I hope he doesn't have to go back up that way again til summertime. He does get paid a few cents more for going up in that area. But if his wheels aren't rolling he's not making any money.

Kristin, what does your DH do that he has to travel so much? I think I may have asked before. Forgive me if I've forgotten. You don't have to tell me if I'm being too nosey either.
Today we are almost 40...woohoooo...but gray. We could get more of that...you know....*whispers*...white stuff today and tonight. I hope not!

Judy, he's a truck driver. He's in Virginia now on dry roads! He's a very happy guy.
We might get some of the cold white stuff here, too. Wah wah. I don't want it. The air outside is cold and feels like snow. I am wishing it to go away now. Far away.

It is sunny, windy and in the high 40's. This weekend it is suppose to be 60!!!!!!!!!!!

We had low 40's but very sunny. I got to open my windows and air out the house. It smelled so GREAT!!!

What?! You got to open your windows? Good grief! I think this weather is all backwards. I cannot even imagine opening mine now. But I am so glad you got to, Judy. What's it like? I can't remember. I have a vague recollection.
It should be a little bit better today and gradually get to the 60's this weekend. The sun is out today. I will hang clothes and sheets.

It's raining, it's pouring. (Sad face here) Just when I was getting used to some DRY ground, thank you. Now back to the ole muddy muck again. It should rain the rest of the week thru the weekend. Yuck! But the weather guys say we are about 2" behind in rainfall this year. I know, hard to believe. But I guess they know. I was so ready to plant some things in the garden, too. At least it ain't snow!
