They are working on our street so it has and will be dirt until November and today in the rain they had to build a raised area just for us to get across the street-It looks like a huge River going right in front of my house-It has rained all day and they are saying we are under a flood watch with 3 or more inches of rain for tonight.
DH and I took a drive to our local dam to check out the water level-Water was crashing through the flood gates-Pretty impressive!
We are thinking if this keeps up and ARK will be in order--
Wow, Melody! We are dry as a bone here. I can't even imagine what you are going through up there. Send some our way please! We are supposed to be getting rain all weekend so maybe we'll be ok. I hope you all can get out if you need to.
Melody, I heard that Western Wisconsin had a flooding problem yesterday and that they evacuated Arcadia, WI. I know that clairesky (Julie) lives there. I am going to e-mail her.
