It is 30 with BRIGHT, sunny, pale blue skys. I actually had my sunglasses on in the house just to look outside. lol All that snow and that bright sun...Yowsa! Blinding. But it's melting snow and ice-cicles so I'm not complaining. Have a great day girls!

Gosh, I feel kind of guilty! Its beautiful, but chilly out and we are going to have a clear sunny weekend according to the weather guys. Going to take the dogs out for a looooong walk this weekend in a park somewhere that is pup-friendly...they are just going bonkers with all of the mild weather...BUT, by Wednesday we could get snow or rain...gotta love this crazy weather...we didn't even have much of a winter this year and I think last winter was a record breaker for snow!

It is beautiful here in Washington! not a cloud in the sky! The sun is out, the birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, it's perfect!

Well, I sort of feel like Charlie Brown on Halloween..."I got a rock" cause we still have the same weather. Sunny/33/dripping and packing down...BUT...it's still there.....Snow that is. lolol

Actually we are up a few degrees from yesterday 38 (woohoo)and gray today. We may get rain tonight and tomorrow. YUK! That'll make a watery mess with all this snow. Have a great Sunday!

Ah, poor Judy. I am so sorry. I'm sure we will be getting some more nasty weather, too. It might rain sometime this week. And it is getting cold now, too. I need to turn my heat back on. I hope this makes you feel better.
Gena, I'm glad you had a good day today. I can't believe they are saying the S word again for you. Shoot.
I do have to add that I worked a little in the garden today, raking goat and cow poo in to the garden. I had to take my jacket off. I was sweating a little. Oopps, sorry Judy. I just had to say that. Please, no duct tape!

It sure was nice to be outside today. We walked over the property trying to figure out how we wanted to put more fencing up. Our friend make fun of me having DH keep changing the fences around. It seems every year I get a new idea. POOR JEFF!!

Gena, it rained here all night. Back to the slippery mud sliding again. I was kinda liking the frozen tundra. And we might have snow flurries Wed. and Thursday. Darn! Judy, is that you wishing more snow on us? My hubby and I were talking the other day about him retiring soon. He had said that to our DD and she said that he could start helping me with all the gardens then. I guess ya'll know what he said! I think he'll go on trucking as long as he can walk now. I do have lists of things that have to be done when he does come home. Poor guy. Life on a farm just always has things to be done.
Judy, that's a good one! Ha ha! I did slip and fall the other day. I was carrying an armfull of hay and a coffee can of chicken feed, too. I lost the hay but held on to the feed, thank goodness. But I only said s### this time! And didn't scream. I was very proud of myself.

Oh dear, I sure don't wish dangerous, slippery mud or snow and ice on any one of my farm buddies. I hope you didn't bruise any movable parts Kristin. You're a hard-working gal and need all your parts to be 100%. hahaha No...I wish earlier than normal Spring weather for all of yuns this year, myself included. I'm ready for it. We are having rain and 40's today too Gena. My sis lives in Franklin NC so I 'spose she's getting this rain too. I'll have to check in on her. Have a great day farmgals! :-)

It is cold and rainy and windy here again today. They say we could have snow by this evening. I guess ya'll back east know that it is coming your way! Sorry!!

Judy, I am not sure where Franklin is, but I think it is in the mountains of NC. I could be thinking of Fletcher. If your sister lives in the mountains, she sure is tired of all the snow!

It is so beautiful outside but it's downright FREEZING cold! I went out ahile ago and planted some redbud tree seeds and got so cold I had to come in and cover up for 2 hours to get warmed up. It's like 20 below with the wind chill. My hands are still frozen. Please, spring, come to me! I need spring time in the valley. I want to go outside but I just can't.

It's really cold out (27 degrees)and cloudy and the wind has picked up a lot since this morning which makes it even colder. The local Pheasant - which lives in the lot next to me - just keeps walking around and squawking and he doesn't know what to do. He sure is pretty.
