Lisa, Do you have a No contact order in place? If he contacts you in mail, email, phone or thru third party he can be arrested in any state as long as you carry the order with you where ever you go. Get one and do carriy it . you can put oter peoples address on it too if you think he will look for you at that adress..

OMG! I should have posted here this morning! I'm so sorry to make you all worry. I'm ok. I'm on a break at work and thought I'd get on for a couple minutes. He's quiet for the time being...he's trying another tactic.
No, Cheryl, I don't have one, yet. I expect the new judge will issue one on Friday the 24th when he's arraigned. Just 8 more days (and nights) to get through.
I'll be sure to post here more often so you all don't worry so much.

Lisa, be sure to request one.. It's only a piece of paper but It will hold up in court in ay state if he breaks the order. Never be so sure he won't... Just be safe and stay near the law to protect you.

Yes, Cheryl, I've talked to the prosecutor and he is going to ask the judge to issue one. All the officers are ready to pounce on him once it is issued. They said there isn't much they can do at the moment (other than a trespassing charge if he shows up on this property again), but if he does any little thing to break the no contact order, they'll haul him off. I am seeing them drive by my house a lot lately and I leave the outside lights on so they and my neighbors can see all around my house. I also got dd's phone number changed today so the harassment at her end stops.

Lisa, Very good... I worked as the domestic violence services coordinator at a shelter in Arizona. I know what these guys are capable of and what the judicial system can & will do to protect any victim.. You are doing very good to become knowledgeable and how to be safe. Good luck...

I'm trying, Cheryl. Sometimes, it all seems so unreal, you know? This kind of stuff doesn't happen to me or to anyone I've ever known. This is the kind of stuff you see on tv. It's been really hard for me to grasp the reality I find myself in. Hopefully, it will all be over soon!

All is well. I heard a man shouting out front about an hour ago. Cody jumped up and was on guard so, I got up. I couldn't see anybody, all the neighbors were still asleep. It's been quiet ever since. He left one more message on dd's phone yesterday before the number changed and told her he was leaving Idaho City. I sure would like to believe that. He also said he knew that I was not going to drop the charge against him. So, maybe that will be incentive enough to make him leave for good! We'll see...I'm not counting on it, though.

Yes, Alee, he MUST appear in front of the judge on the 24th or risk a bench warrant.
Janice, I feel MUCH better having patrols go by so often.
No worries, Cindy. I am not dropping anything! I'm not taking any chances that he either won't go or might come back and I'd have nothing to get rid of him. I'm following through on this to the end!
Jami, a vacation...a real vacation...sounds so heavenly right now.
He has made 2 trips into the recorder's office this morning and returned a number of mine and Felicia's things. He told them he would be leaving town on the 10th and moving to Montana. I don't really believe the Montana part as he has no friends or relatives there. The 10th is mother's day...why the 10th? Why would you leave a rented apartment on such an odd date? That seems really weird to me.
