Linda…your list will be done by spring at this rate.

I made and posted my list but some how have managed to start and finish some paper crafting projects instead of working on PHDs! Lol :)

LOL! Karen, if it is, and I doubt it, I have more to add, and will probably definitely be adding more projects between.

Debbie - thank you - that picture doesn't do the Crooked Courthouse Steps justice, but when I get it back from the longarm quilter I will have my husband take a good picture.

I had a very productive weekend and finished 4 UFOs! I had the sign boards and the vinyl for 2 years and just needed to put the vinyl on and hang the signs. The Easter egg bunny and Minnie Mouse freezer pop holder were all made but just not sewn together. They were 4 of my easiest UFOs. I'm so glad to have them done and out of my craft space!

It helps when you know there are others in the same situation as you - too many UFOs. LOL!

I finished 3 UFOs but none of them were on my list of unfinished objects! Lol

I came across a baggie of unfinished card pieces. So I took some time to make completed cards. I also found this 4th of July towel that needed the stars to be sewn on.

I feel pretty good even though the projects weren’t on my actual list! :) lol

I partially finished another PhD on my list. I made two salvage Christmas tree wall hanging tops today and yesterday. I did things slightly differently, because I use all Christmas Fabrics, except for a few cat fabrics, and brown selvage strips for the trunks. The pattern did not call for a salvage trunk, it called for just a piece of brown fabric, so that is one change I made. If you look at the two trees, you will notice on one of them the second row of tree branches it’s not as wide as the bottom 2. I wanted to try something different to maybe give a little more pointed shape to the tree. I another deviation from the pattern was that I put that pin inside border strip on one of them to see what that would look like. I like how these turned out and I plan to make more. I will use all different selvages for another one to give it a little more color, and since this was the first time project, I’ve learned some things along the way. What do you think? The background fabric is a 12 days of Christmas fabric that I had in my stash.

To complete my PHD, I still need to Quilt and bind them. I hope to finish that in the next few days.

Cute wall hangings Linda. OK, I guess I need to at least start my list and get busy.
So far, this is what I have:
1. Latch hook rug/wall hanging(1/3 left to do)
2. Knitted scarf(my learning-to-knit project) only 2” so far
3. Picnic basket (tole painted ruffle on lid)
4. Bear and berries tray (bucket of berries to finish painting)
5. Painted canvas picture (need frame painted)
6. Painted canvas picture (leaves added to tree)
7. Farmhouse hat rack (background picture painted)
8. Finish quilt top my Mom started
This is just a beginning, but are the oldest projects I have been holding on to, because I love them so much. So I want to complete these first, they have been weighing heavy on my mind.

You ladies are something special --- I have so many UFO's that I'm completely overwhelmed where to even start. Last couple have been hard ones here and well... I've fallen off the craft bandwagon more times than I can count. I can't even get myself to committ. Lol. But, I keep trying! :-) I always find support here on the forum, even just be reading your posts and enjoying the photos and inspiration you all post. Thank you to each of you for sharing little tid bits from your corners of the world.

April it was very hard for me to commit with a list, but I decided to just go for it. Now I have a whole sisterhood to keep me accountable. I am already sitting here thinking,
“why did I do this?!?!” LOL, Thank you Linda for starting this, or else I would continue to procrastinate.

Well put Marie!! If it is something you want to do go for it, if not it was not meant to be. Linda the salvage trees are great. I like the little border around the one on the right. Kind of frames it.

Hay there.

This past year is the first time I did NOT add any projects to my list. However, I also did NOT finish any from my list. Heres to hoping 2023 will be my year of completions.

Karen, your cards and towel are very pretty. Great job on finishing non-list UFOs! I am afraid of finding some of those in my house.

Lovely wall hangings, Linda. I think they turned out great.

I applied for my beginner UFO badge on Monday since I finished my first couple of projects. Now on to the intermediate badge. Hopefully I finish many more projects.
