Woo hoo!! Nice scarf, Michele! I love that plaid. did you use the pattern I posted earlier? They go easy, don't they? I think the hardest part is the cutting and matching of the plaids.
I finished another scarf today, too - one more out of the same fabric will finish another PhD off my list and then I will post picture.

Good going, Krista. All these lists of UFOs and PhD projects should help get everyone the UFO badge, LOL! I'll have to look. I'm not sure if I have that one yet. This way farm sisters can help others get the badge.

Linda I did use the pattern you posted. I think I may shorten it up though. 3 wraps around my neck seems to be too much. Shhhh... I will confess, I did not worry too much about matching plaids........hehehe I figured it would be wrapped around and no one would notice. lol I know I am bad. lol Craft on everyone!!

Sounds great, Michele. Yes, I made mine 72" so far and even that is a bit too long to wrap around twice, and 3 times is just too much for me. I am thinking that 60" or 65" may work for 2x around. I have a piece of fabric I trimmed from a quilt I got back from the longarm quilter that is that long and will try both lengths.

Linda, that is a great idea! So many of us could complete all the UFO badges and help each other along the way.
All the scarves are so pretty. Great work ladies!

LInda, your latest flannel scarf is really nice. I love the bold check print!!
Karen, your latest sewing project turned out beautiful! What is a slow stitch sewing project ? I am like you, sometimes I just wing it and see what happens.

Winnie, I’m a newbie to the slow stitching thing. It uses scraps and ribbons and anything else you want to put on it. All the layers are basted together and then you do decorative stitches to securely fasten things together. I added a heart button, a 3D cloth flower, and a tiny button to it for dimension. I’m sure I’m not doing slow stitching a service with that description. Lol. I found things on Pinterest. :)

Well, today I altered/expanded one of my PhD projects and got it ready for the the longarm quilter. I finished it as it was written - today I cut Raggedy Ann/Andy fabrics into 12-1/2" squares. But instead of packaging for selling. as previously listed in the UFO list, I sewed them into 3 kids quilt tops. The reason for altering this PhD is as follows: I am going to have a booth at a Women's Retreat being offered at our church in April, and will be selling items I've made and giving ALL the proceeds to our granddaughter to help finance her mission trip back to Jordan. She arrives from Jordan on February 3 to be here for the arrival of her baby brother on February 15, unless he decides to make an earlier appearance. He is already over 7-1/2 pounds and if he takes his time and reaches 10 pounds before the 15th they will induce. Our granddaughter is planning to go back to Jordan the beginning of April and while she is here she hopes to earn the money so she can go back. She is bringing quite a few Jordan-made products home with her to sell to help finance her return trip.
Here are pictures of the 3 quilt tops I've made so far. I still have a LOT of Raggedy Ann/Andy fabrics and may make a few more before the sale. These three are all similar, but different. I have no more of the large RAs that are framed - one in each of these quilts. The next quilts will be 10" squareswith a border around the quilt to make it the same size as these - 36" x 48'.

LOL! Thanks, Andrea. My mother used to make and sell Raggedy Anns and Andys. I have quite a few RA/A dolls she cut out but never finished, plus dresses she made; I don't have any Andy clothes and also need to make some bloomers and aprons for the Ann dolls. The dolls I have still need to be assembled, stuffed, and the hair sewn on - each piece individually added. She has already embroidered the faces and the "I Love You" heart on their chest. Guess I need to add some of these to my PhD list?
She also loved Raggedy Ann/Andy fabric and every time she found some she bought some. When she passed away I inherited over 53 yards of Raggedy Ann/Andy fabrics. I made my only niece and nephew each a RA/A quilt for when they have kids, I cut and pieced these 3 tops, and I have a lot of RA/A fabric left. I am going to make a few more RA/A quilts with a different layout and size of blocks to try and use some more of the fabrics.
She also left me with several draft dodger dolls and their dresses; these dolls also need the yarn hair sewn on - each curl individually sewn.
WHEW! I'm tired just thinking about all this.
I am working on finishing what I can for a craft sale at our church in April at a Women's Conference. I am donating all the proceeds from what I sell to my granddaughter's mission work. I have a LOT to do!

Linda a long time ago , in a magazine I can’t recall, I saw a cute RA doll whose apron was tea stained and embroidered with “My (heart) belongs to Andy”

So stinking cute Linda. You have been super busy. It is helping me stay in line! I'm currently working on 2 projects at once. Both are bigger ones and if I go back and forth I wont get burned out. I can't wait to have one more project finished.
