Just found your page and I am sorry to hear about your Mom. I lost my Mom this last June and yes its very difficult. My thoughts are with you, Sincerely Allison
To be like other farm girls and become there friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. You and your mom were both lucky to have one another at the end. Knowing you took care of her with love and tenderness will serve you well for the rest of your days, as it served her for the end of hers.

Oh Georgeann - I am so sorry about your mom. You were a perfect daughter. I recall you said that you remember how she was at 36. Keep that memory. She was special, and you are more special. Bless you and I pray that the following days will be blessed with the presence of God in your life and Godly strength will sustain you.

Thank you all so very much. I have received so many lovely cards and gifts of encouragement. I just don't know where and how to express my thanks to everyone. In all of my years I have never seen an outpouring of love and care and concern by so many.
I hope tomorrow I can take some time to sit at my computer and thank each of you individually. The handmade items are so wonderful.
This is one place I don't feel like a stranger in this big world of apathy. My husband just couldn't believe the outpouring of cards and handmade momentos. I told him that farmgirls with heartstrings. I apologize for not answering sooner, but I've had my hands full. Tomorrow I have to sit in the Social Security office and go through the stopping of Mom's SS checks. I couldn't do it until I had the death certificate in my hands and I just got those. Today was a very down day for me....but I know that I can expect a few of those.
So please farmgirl friends, until tomorrow when I hope to get personal thank you's out to each of you.
