| As of right now I think it maybe okay! We may have to drive down to L.A. Sat because Im not sure if thats the week we move my son home from college. But I think Sun. should be fine . And earlier would be fine with me too. Looking forward to meeting all you! |

tell ya what, let's plan for around Sun., 27th @ 11 am.... that way we can hit the "food" before the normal 12noon lunch crowd. Shop till we drop & probably head home by 2pm. to miss the traffic (I hope!).
Let me know if that works for you.
Mima & Amanda, you might want to ride share,,,,more fun that way.
I will park (hopefully) in the public parking area just below the Statue in front of the old Court house on Poli street.
Let's touch base (by personal email) a few days before our get together to exchange cell #'s .

Can I still whine about not being able to join you ladies? Will you please toast (water, ice tea, whatever) me and all the others who would love to be there? I need to make a trip to SoCAL one of these days...and not the quickie trips we've made to pick up dune buggies and leave asap. Visit my cousin in Laguna Niguel, my old places in Burbank/No Hollywood...and head up the coast.

oh come on over and play,.... just think, arrive w/ empty luggage & go home wih over stuffed luggage....trust me, I never leave the historic didtrict of Ventura with out a hand full of "must haves". just ask my hubbie, whenever I tell him I am going to Ventura he just sighs 'cause he knowes I never come home empty handed...

Aunt George, we are bringing a camera,,,maybe we will come up with the perfect Kooky picture to post, of us in aprons....doing what we do best....shopping & eating & gabbing...

we're back and it was soooooooooo much fun!!! Mima/Debi and Katmom/Grace are such wonderful people. We had a great time, eating and shopping...and taking pictures of our beautiful aprons.

Yep-a-roo, we had a very delightful time.... we tied our aprons together (like a cloths line) & did the photo-op thing. I'll post pic's of Mima & Kreativeblond tomorrow.
mima (Debi) & kreativeblond (Amanda) & I had a fun time, & the finds that we found were so kool! We hit several Thrift Stores & ate at a "Natural Cafe" where we gabbed like old girlfriends who hadn't seen each other in over a year.....
Mima showed us her cool purse that was a sweater in it's former life...
We riffled through shirts & pillow cases etc, looking for that perfect fabric to create an apron out of. We even found a few aprons, I bought on for .50 cents & the other for $1.95, SCORE!!!
Kreativeblond bought 2 dresses, 1 for a costum as a Audry Hepburn wanna be & the 2nd one is a '80's Madonna wanna be costum... Amanda, you rock!
Mima bought some blue silky P.J. bottoms,,,don't ask! LOL! she says they are for her daughter,,,yea, right!!!! like I am buying that!!! hahaha! 
Well ladies, it was a fun day today & I Thank you for the wonderful time we had.
