Well earlier today my cuckoo clock fell off the wall and broke. So of course I was feeling very sorry for myself as I have had a very bad year. I went on the computer to look here and play some games but I decided to check my work mail first. There is a woman who works at our college that was in one of my classes a few years back. She was very smart and one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. She works at a different campus so I don't see her very often but whenever I do she always has a big smile and asks how everything is. Well, there was an email that her 19 year old beautiful daughter was killed in a car accident on Friday. My heart just breaks for her family. She has 2 younger daughters. I never met her husband but they tell me he is a great guy. I guess it puts things in perspective. Please keep her (her name is Mit) and her family in your prayers. Merle

That is so sad! The scary thing about driving is it doesn't always matter how wonderful of a driver you are, but it sometimes is all up to the other drivers on the road.
