Last weekend I took some teenage girls to a mall for therapeutic shopping. One shirt we saw was almost a crime against fashion but it had a strange fascination, like watching the Shopping Channel or Dr. Pimple Popper.
I had several t shirts that were too big for me so I decided to make a cheaper version at home.. With some lacy touches I sewed them into the Boho meets Frankenstein creations here.
They are unique!

Vanessa, those are definitely unique but I like them! What did the girls think?

Grace and Linda, I’ll have to share once I get done and hopefully it’s for this Christmas lol!

I finished another UFO last night. All I had left was to make the green tie, stuff it, and cut the face out of felt. I can't believe I waited almost a year to finish that lol! But I'm glad to have one more checked off my list.

Now onto the next project!

I joined a crochet along on another website and started these two afghans.I'm not sure what I'll do with them, but they're keeping me busy. DH asked me to work up a baby blanket for his friend at work, so I'm hoping to pop that off as well.:)

Krista, you always have the cutest projects and UFOs to share! Love the jack o lantern, adorable!

Jessie, beautiful afghan starts! I just re-started crochet-ing last year from my childhood days and am still very beginner, but it certainly helps with any stress and anxiety. Hope to be as good as you ladies one day! xo

Beautiful Afghans, Jessie.
Love the pumpkin, Krista.

Well, today I have finished nothing, but over the weekend I finished a couple mugs, a mini quilt, 2 Microwave Bowl potholders, and almost finished 2 Microwave Baked Potato bags. Chose a lot of fabrics from my stash to make some new quilted pan savers (go between pans to keep from scratching), Microwave Bowl Potholders and Baked Potato Bags; chose more fabrics for the backs of some Halloween placemats, and had my DH bring down the boxes of Fall/Halloween decorations.

Yesterday I also went to a previous place where I had some of my quilted projects for sale and removed all of them and will sort and possibly put in another place closer to home. She hadn't called me and I found out I could have picked them up a long time ago since she also bakes and caters things and the city shut her down because of COVID for a while and she has been completely closed. Oh, well. I have the stuff now.

I found this sign at an antique/craft shop; and I think many of you can relate. LOL!

Today I did start to decorate for Fall. Here is the start of my Fall table decorations: a table runner made by me several years ago, crocheted placemats made by my mother, fabric decoupaged Dollar Tree (DT) plate chargers covered by Mona - a high school friend, clear glass plates from DT, and napkin rings with fall flowers and white napkins - also made by Mona. She goes overboard at her house for Easter, Fall, and Christmas decorations (among other holidays) like this every year.

Beautiful table Linda!

Yesterday was our 30th anniversary. DH totally forgot about it and went to a friends house for all-day football. Today is DH's birthday. Guess what I am not going to do.

Linda, your table looks very festive. I like it! All my fall and Halloween stuff is out of the crawl space but still in the box. The kids and I are going to put it all up after nap time.

I’m so sorry Judith. Let us know what happens.

I’m going to finish the other fall bag UFOs that go with the pumpkin. I’m hoping to get the scarecrow completed tonight. I need to look and see if I have any raffia though to tie the bag.

Back at the first of spring I purchased a cute decoration to put on my table and put some pretty spring flowers in. Last week I ordered some new fall flowers to swap with. Finally got it done. I feel much more festive now. I think I'll do it again for the winter.

I am one step closer to finishing a coverlet for my son. I'm trimming the diagonal blocks and adding side panels in colored denim.

I had such fun today working on the three pieces for my Halloween Triptych. Tomorrow I will practice using my new quilt binding attachment to bind the three little 4x8 quiltlets. Then they get hung on a neat little tri-fold quilt stand. Will send photo of the end result.

Linda, what a pretty table! Where did you find a pattern for the things you make to go between your pots? I need to make some.

Jessie, those are pretty Afghan starts. Did you get the baby blanket made?

Krista what a pretty centerpiece.

Everyone seems to be busy. I've been working on painting my kitchen cabinets. They are almost done. Going to update the hardware for them.

Jean, those gnomes are so dang cute! I love the Halloween theme of them.

Over the weekend I worked on a diamond painting that I plan to give to my hubby for Christmas. I’m about 3/4 of the way complete. But I ran out of a color and tried contacting the supplier for more but haven’t heard back yet. I really hope I can get some more.

Denise - What do you mean by the things between my pots? I do have a pattern for the table runner - it uses striped fabrics I can send it if you want.

Jean - love the gnomes. Nice quilting.

Love all the quilt and crochet and other table projects
