I finished binding my late mother in law's quilt. All by hand. Will make a label later.

Vanessa, the quilt is beautiful! :) Thank you for sharing it! I wish I was good at hand stitching a binding…

I took a zoom class today for making slow stitch vignettes; I can't sew by hand much anymore but I signed up for it anyway. My first zoom class; it was fun. These are the vignettes I made:

I used antique lace scraps for this one.

This has a leaf I presered in a glycerin solution

Those are really neat Judith. I especially like the blue one - it makes me think of snow (and I love snow)!

How does you preserve a leaf in glycerin? Where does one buy glycerin? Liquid glycerin is so difficult to find.

Drugstores have glycerin, also Amazon. You mix 1 part glycerin to 3 parts water and let the leaves soak for several days. I use a rubbermaid container with a lid. Sometimes it preserves the colors really well and sometimes not so much. Always a surprise.

Vanessa your quilt is beautiful! Judith, I love your vignettes! They looks like they are fun to make.
I have been working on a crochet doll called granny. I bought the pattern from crochet tree and also the gardening outfit pattern for her. Too frozen here to spend much time outside so I'm hoping to get some crafty things done.

Nice work Michelle. The quilting in the white space looks great from what I can see.
