The cabled crochet hat I just finished. I'm starting to cut it close to Christmas.

That hat is adorable Krista.

Krista you have really been productive. I love seeing the wolf done with the shadow of mountains and trees on him.

Great job, Krista!

What games do the kids use the rice bags for?

Thank you all for your sweet comments! I received a very large cross stitch for Christmas. It's going to take me a while to complete. I also received 2 diamond paintings. I will be busy crafting again this year.

Linda, my kids use the rice bags for heat. Especially my youngest. His room is the coldest room in the house, so we will warm it up at bed time and it will help keep him warm. Or they will use them when they have any kind of body pains to make them feel better.

That’s a great use for the rice bags, Krista. Maybe I need to make me one to keep my feet warm. LOL! I wasn’t sure if you used them for games like bean bag toss.

Linda, you really should! My hubby and I have some as well. These bags are bigger than the bean bag toss bags. They are 9 inches by 11 inches. The perfect size for little hands and bodies.

This is the December project for my little quilt club. It's 24" square.

The January project; it's 24 x 22"

Linda -- That looks like a perfect quilt for a little boy. I like how you added the top to make it rectangular.

Wow, you've been busy Krista! Great projects.

I'm always in awe of your little projects Judith! You make me want to try and see what I can do with my overflowing scrap tote.

Love the quilt Linda!

Just one scrap tote, Heather? I have at least 9. LOL! I have drawers of 2-1/2" strips; 2", 2-1/2", 4-1/2", 5", 6-1/2" squares; Selvage strips; 1-1/2" strips; and general scraps.

I don't have a sewing room so I have a bunch of totes of fabric. When I can't get any more 4 inch squares out of a piece of fabric it becomes a scrap, so I only have one scrap tote. I don't have anything else separated out. I do have a tote of 10 inch and 4 or 5 inch squares but they're not scraps LOL!

Heather -- I understand; when I told my little quilt club that 6 inches was yardage they all laughed.

LOL! Yardage can almost be any size square if it helps make a quilt.
