I have received a second bill but no issue yet. Do we have to subscribe to get the magazine? Don't see how the issue would be free this way.

Hi Denise,

It's OK, I think it will arrive soon. Bulk mail is funny...it could take two days, or four weeks, depending on the Post Office and lots of other factors. Both the magazines and the invoices go out as bulk mail from different places. You just got the invoices first, but the magazine is also on its way.

Let us know when it arrives, and we hope you love it!

YAY!

I am surprised to hear myself say it but this is THE best magazine from Mary Jane so far...LOTS of amazing projects, mouth watering recipes and the gorgeous pictures you expect from the farm. I haven't even delved into the stories yet but I am setting a blanket out in the yard and you know where I will be all afternoon! It is always hard to anticipate what the end result of a creative project will be but this is a gem. I can't wait to find more copies once they are in the store and buy a whole stack for my girlfriends.

Bravo Mary Jane, Carol, Megan, Gabe and the crew....you hit this one out of the park!
Warmly, Rebekka

Hello, Ladies! I'm still a little confused, even after reading all of the above entries - I requested a free issue from the new publisher and received an invoice for 6 issues for $19.95. I am more than happy to pay the money, but does the 6 include the free one or will I get 7 issues total? Should I be asking the new publisher this question? I'm going to send my reply card back to them today, because I can't wait to get my new magazine, but wondered what to expect. . .

Deb-
Do call the publisher, their number is 1-800-476-4611, they are in charge of all the details of getting the magazine to your door and the farm is in charge of the creative side. The woman I spoke to (Jill) was very helpful and answered the phone right away;)
I sent my parents both their own subscriptions- they LOVE everything written by Mary Jane. The free issue is a trial issue, if you like the magazine (You WILL!) you can subscribe for six issues (including that trial issue) and save about $17 over buying it at the bookstore.
It is worth the wait girls;)

Hi Deb and Denise,

Thanks for letting me know it's not clear about that. The subscription price is for 6 issues. The first issue of the subscription is yours to keep (free) if you should choose not to subscribe. Otherwise, it's part of the 6-issue subscription.

Thanks again, and enjoy!

dear sunny -shine, Hi! I Haven't stopped hoping you'll be in my neck of the woods this year....
Hey just letting you know that i still want to sell the magazines in my store (in addition to my personal subscription) Also, I am sold out of some of the back issues and need to reorder. I think these are two different stocking issues now. So, I need to talk to? at? about having the mags on my shelf...
Love, Karen

Hi Karen!

For small (adorable) stores like yours that want to carry just our magazine (and not a whole supermarket rack-full), call RetailVision and speak to Calli Thomas about setting up an account:
800-381-1288 ext. 6026

Enjoy the sunshine you have down there in San Diego for me!

Very Important P.S.

Here at MaryJanesFarm, we won't be any selling of the new issues from here on out. We'll still sell the back issues, 2 - 9, but when the publisher is out of this new issue that they just printed, they're gone, and we won't have any to sell, either. So get 'em while you can, 'cause there won't be any later!

thanks for the info Sunny. Looking forward to seeing my magazine soon!
I'm sure I'll love it! I have all the magazines except the premier but I have the books too and they are fantastic. Everyone at the farm is just amazing at all they do. Thanks for all your work, we do appreciate you all.

Well crud...I asked Meg just the other day if I was gonna be able to buy my copies of the magazine from the farm and she said yes. I didn't sign on the subscription due to my traveling..figured that would get all messed up....sooooo..now I need to know when they are supposed to hit the newstands, bookstores, ect...I've got a Barnes and Nobles about 25 miles from me and I was told that Books a million wouldn't be carrying them.

Someone let me know...One last thought...can I call the publisher and just order the current issue? That would solve my problem altogether.

Sunny, I called the name and number you gave and they were so nice. I am now selling, or rather will be when they arrive (with a display too!), MJF mags in my "adorable" store. Turned out to be a very productive day here at Edgehill Herb Farm. Thanks so much for the help, Karen

You are most welcome, Stephanie!

Our magazine will be officially "on sale" in bookstores on 4-29, but they may be put out a few days earlier.

The magazine will be in Barnes & Noble, Hastings, Borders, all major bookstores, Whole Foods Markets, select grocery stores, and all Tractor Stores.

Cheers!

~Sunny
