So if I haven't rec'd my copy yet, I shouldn't worry?

hey, i haven't got mine either...maybe calif is lowest on the bulk mail totem i sing "maryjane, maryjane, maryjane, etc..." (kinda to the tune of "brother john" better known as "frere jacque") all the way to the mail box everyday and so far it hasn't worked! Do you think it might be my voice?

I think I will stop at my local WINCO and see if they have it. If not, then on to Barns & Noble. |

I'm in Colorado and haven't got mine yet either. They have, however, cashed my subscription check. I WILL have the mag by the time I have to sit on a plane for 7 hours on the 1st of May, even if I have to go to a Borders and buy it. I'm glad the ladies that have already received it aren't revealing too much, that would be like your older brother rushing out to run through all the fresh snow before you have a chance to wreck some yourself (ok, maybe that's a personal childhood issue, lol!)

Betty, it isn't on newsstands apparently for 4 more days! So you may want to wait. I asked my B&N and they are not scheduled to get it when it is released so I am going to borders next... worst case scenario i'm sending hubby to the tractor store for tractor oil and maryjanesfarm because, and i'm quoting Sunny about places carrying mag., - "all tractor stores".

I'm in Nj and I haven't received mine either. Maybe it's just the way they send them or something. Could be slower and I'm sure they don't send all of them at once.

Don't quit singing, Karen! It can't be your voice. Can't be! I loved reading about your song to the mailbox each day...I think we should all do it. Have you any more words? "Mary Jane, Mary Jane......." What is the rest? |

Oh my, the rest? let's see...
"Maryjane, maryjane, maryjane, maryjane, Please be in my mailbox, please be in my mailbox, please, please, please, please please please!"
Riveting stuff! Andrew lloyd Webber watch out.
Maybe if you sing it with me, the mag will appear. love, karen

It still hasn't arrived in Canada, either! Although, I did get the subscription bill a few days ago, which said the first issue was on its way, so maybe next week I'll have good news.

I got that bill a couple days ago too, but was told on the phone that I would not be getting the first issue. My faxed request awhile back wasn't processed, so a new sub request was entered. |

Karen, I was thinking of your singing while hanging out my clothes this morning. As I looked up who should I see but our mail lady so.......... I started singing and guess what mine was in the box today. So don't stop I'm sure it must be on it's way to you.
I did notice that inside the issue it says that if you subscribe you can receive the next 6 issues so I don't think it counts the free one. I was thinking about calling the publisher to find out for sure. I know there was some debate about that.

Denise, Darling, I am so happy it worked for someone! But, are you sure it isn't your voice that did the trick? I think that my song isn't the problem it is the singer....but i will continue to sing if enough farmgirls think i should...of course, I am convinced that all the farmerettes that think i should keep singing, can't possibly hear me from there...

Karen, ooh, I'm sure it's not my singing, cause I have trouble carrying a tune in a basket. Good things come to those who wait and you will not be disappointed in this magazine for sure.

Hi, I got my issue on Tuesday and have read every word, from cover to cover. It was so good that I'm going to order it for my friend. |

I picked up a few copies for gifts at the Schuler Books store north of Grand Rapids yesterday. The clerk said, (a little snottily, I thought) "Did you get them all?" I told her I left a few and she was a little mollified. She hadn't had time to look at one yet. Evidently they have sold out early in the past and can't get enough to satisfy all their customers! She said she was going to go over and get one on her break!

It's time for the farmgirl subscription posse to saddle up!
If you've sent in a card or called or sent an email and you still don't have a copy of the magazine (or worse yet, paid the bill!), we want to double-check the mail list for your name. Please email Belvoir your name and address and they'll get back to you promptly: customer_service@belvoir.com
Go ahead and copy us on your email: iris@maryjanesfarm.org
The only way for us to check at this point is to get the name and address you used when you signed up!
As soon as we know any specifics, we will post!!!

If anyone figures out where to buy extra copies online, please post it.

Yesterday was such a good day! I came home, and my MJF magazine had arrived! Yep, it's made it into Canada...
Great job, Mary Jane and team! It was worth the wait!
