I have attempted crocheting Dish cloths... they came out ' so-so'... thank goodness I have a dear friend who took pitty on me and made me one for my kitchen and one for my trailer ...
I just need to practice my crocheting ...

The stars are just 2 rows of crochet around a circle. Ch 3 and slip stitch to form a loop. Ch 3 then do 14 DC in the loop, sl st to ch3. *Ch 7, sl st in 2nd St from hook, SC in 3rd st, 1/2 DC in 4th st, DC in 5th 6th &7th sts. Sl st in 3rd DC around circle* repeat from * 4 times so you get 5 points.

Got two dish mats done! I made one quite some time ago and wanted a couple more so I can switch them out. Yahoo, don't have to use my towels!

I shortened 3 pillowcases from king to standard. cutaway fabric goes to new fabric stash. I have nine more to do today. Wish me luck. My reward is to work on something new.

Judy... I luv making and giving hand made pillowcases..
easy peasy to make and fun to customise.
I have an embrodiery machine so often times I machine embroider the recipient's name on the top portion of the case.
I think everyone needs a hand made pillow case to dream sweet dreams on.
