Sherri, you are beautiful in every way! I believe half the battle is knowing that you have this issue.
I grew up feeling this way and was not able to change my way of thinking until I was almost 40. I worked at it one adjective at a time. I went from "scrawny" to "petite". Song Sparrow has a bit of good advice about that mirror. Take good care of your "self" and your daughter will see that too. Hugs.

Completed a skit for my granddaughter before 4th of July! For me that's amazing! :)(7).jpg?v 66543735) And I got it sent to GA as well!!

I've gotten some UFOs done.
[
Darned my pair of pink Sole Mates socks.
Darned my pair of purple Sole Mates socks.
I have a new strategy for completing some of my mending. I gather all the pieces that can be hand mended in a clear zipper bag with all the necessary supplies. I then take it with me to the couch and work on them while I watch TV.

UFOs have just gone by the wayside lately for me. And the list keeps growing. Hopefully when I get back from Michigan in July, I can finish some. I have a quilt retreat the weekend after I get back and can usually get stuff done then. 4 days to just sew helps a lot.

Awww... thanx Sherrilyn...
Between life I do manage to get some (small amount) work done UFO, ...
currenty I am working on 2 lap quilts for our 'Covers of Love' group...( cut out and stitched, just need to add the backing and binding) and I have 6 aprons cut out and 3 cobbler aprons cut out all ready to be sewn..... but that will have to wait till next week...
And I won't even mentition the half crochet blankets I have started nor the current x-stitch pillow I have been working on since January ! Lol!

Grace, its only because of the flooding and everything mmoving upstairs from the basement that I can see my mending pile. lol. Just throw your's on the top. Oh, my. The piles way too high to move your's to the bottom.

Today I was motivated to fix the lining that was tearing on my daughter's duvet cover and I fixed a tear in her lace skirt. Can't hardly see it, unless you get REALLY close to her butt!

Wow! everyone has been really busy. Love the skirt and the mending job is awesome! I have been working on the quilt... hopefully will finish this year.

Glad to see everyone is getting things done. I did all my birthday squares for a swap. Today I have organized my paints . Each kind is in a tub and will be easy to find . I will be painting ceramics tomorrow. Feeling excited to be able to find what I need.
