Here is another UFO I am getting finished and will use for one of my merit badge levels. These are blocks received in my 10" squares Christmas fabric swap this past November. After a scare that I did not have enough of the cream sashing fabric, I found some more in a Dallas shop, bought it, and got it cut out and sewn together. I still need to add a border and get it quilted before it is completed. I love the blocks we have been swapping in my 10" squares swaps. Please come check us out - we'd love to have more join in. We do a different theme or holiday fabric almost every month. We have done Christmas twice, patriotic, Valentines, Easter, boys-themed, and the current one is girls-themed fabrics. A great way to build your stash.

Thanks for your comments on my quilt, Kat and CeeJay.
CeeJay -
At a thrift shop a few weeks ago I got 12 wooden screw-tighten-type hoops of various sizes for $5.00! Another great find! I love the older hoops.

I like the wooden hoops but haven't found a small one at a thrift store . . . lots of larger ones and I have large ones. The 4" is the one I use to embroider my merit badges. I will keep my eye peeled for a wooden one at a thrift however, but needed one in the meantime! The plastic one I bought does have the screw tighten feature, which I prefer. I have a couple metal hoops that don't have that and I'm not crazy about them, but they're neither one small enough. CJ

Linda Your quilt is beautiful!! I need to get to work on some of mine. CJ I like the smaller hoops for embroidery, I have not been able to find a wooden one. If I run across one I will pick it up.

Ceejay... tomorrow is my day to sew... I have 3 aprons on the sewing table that are long over due! Our weather has been pretty cruddy too! So I should be taking advantage of it and getting some UFO's finished.... That being said.. I also need to finish up a few more things for my shop.

okey dokey,,, here are the 2 aprons, made from fabric that CeeJay sent me.. All I had to do was buy the backing.
this is what I call a 'Bar Maid/Bistro' apron,,, it can be worn flat or you can gently gather/scrunch the fabric waist band.
the pink fabric is from MaryJanes 'Glamping' fabric design...
thanx & hugz Mz Cj... I used every last inch of the fabric you sent me...

Finished one skirt for Rendezvous.....unfortunately, I lost it when I took a tumble down a hill at the last Renedezvous I attended on Easter weekend. Oh well, some little girl is running around in a really cute skirt that she got for free. I'm ok with that!
Sorry I forgot to take a picture.....

Okie, dokie, here are my finished UFO projects for my intermediate merit badge. Even though these are not "big" projects they were quite time consuming!!
A "Happy Camper" trailer project made into a flag to hang on our trailer while we're glamping. In our colors. Glad this one is done!
And, a project that's been on waiting for a LONG time is this cross-stitch bookmark. A Scottish thistle design in a kit that I purchased in Scotland at the Stirling Castle gift shop a long time ago. The Aida cloth is a very small weave and the pattern intricate. I made a few changes from the instructions for finishing it which took longer but I like better. I'm really glad this is finished!
The back.

Nice projects, CeeJay.
I, too, have multiple projects to finish - some are already done - for my Intermediate and Expert UFO merit badges. It is a great feeling to get them DONE!
