Not exactly "coloring" but along the same lines. I did another page in my journaling Bible this morning. It is a bit bare but I couldn't think of anything to add, perhaps I'll add to it later. The study I'm doing is the names of God so this is one.

After doing this I decided I would like to learn to correctly write the Hebrew so that I can use that in my journaling. I tried on this page but I'd like to do it better. So I have some calligraphy pens in my amazon cart and a book in my wishlist and I found some websites that have instructions for the Hebrew as well as pictures of the ancient Hebrew (the ancient version is really fascinating). Anyway just something else I'm delving into to include in my journaling.

I'm also working on a coloring page. I did a little more on it today and might be able to finish it tomorrow then I'll post a pic. I used one of my gellatos on it but I don't love the way it turned out. I think I need to find some instructions for using them....or just practice more.

As for storage (to answer my own question). I have four books but I don't know where two of them are so only two are with my stuff. Then I have my journaling Bible, I have several sets of colored pencils, some markers, pastels, gellatos, micron pens, hi gliders, multicolored G2 pens, charcoal pencils, the sharpener, washi tape and a sketch pad for practicing. I have them in a little caddy from 31 but things are starting to overflow so I really need a different solution but I'd like something where they stay relatively organized. I may just take all the books out and keep them separate somewhere and that may free up enough space for all the materials for now.

Darlene...these are all from different books! And the Owl is a Big Framed Piece that I bought
from Barnes and Noble. You take out the picture...color it and then reframe it.

Beautiful work, Peggy! My coloring is sort of on hold for a little bit. Trying to get some things on my "to do" list done before going to visit my daughter next week. She has some special plans for us, but we've talked about having some coloring time together too!

Hey all!! Here is the picture I finished today. Then next is a picture I colored a while back when I was waiting for Daniel to make his appearance.

CJ I was thinking, maybe it would be better if I made a separate thread (spinnoff thread) for Bible Journaling stuff. That way this one could stay just coloring for those who are only interested in that and we could have another one for anyone who wants to share stuff about the other? What do you think?

Oh I forgot to say on the Love one I let my kids pick out the flower colors. They took turns choosing a flower and picking out the colors (this is how I get time to color-I let them be involved lol). Thanks for the compliments!! :)

Yes, Sabrina! Very nice and I think it's great that you involve your kiddos!

As for you question about a separate thread for Bible journaling . . . I think it's fine either way. I kind of like having it combined with this one. But feel free to start another one if you'd like to.

Wow you ladies have been busy and your pages look awesome! Me...well I've only gotten about a quarter of one design colored in the past week. Maybe this week will be more productive in the "free time" department....

Wow Peggy! You have done a lot of coloring :) the 3d pic is my favorite!

CJ if you like having that here I'll leave it :) I just didn't want to get too far off topic but it is definitely easier for me to keep up with less conversations.

I just finished this one. Yes, girls I have been doing a lot of coloring and I will tell you
why: my husband is very depressed right now for many reasons but one is his Oldest Son being
in a Federal Prison Camp. So...I color to keep from getting bored and lonely. Besides walking
over 10,000 Steps every day...which takes me at least 2 hours per day. I can't really do a lot
of cleaning because he sleeps almost all day long every day and stays up all night. The Dr. has
upped his medications but it takes 2 months to see any real improvement. Today while he slept I
went to the bank, went shopping, went to the fitness center, then came home and sorted laundry
(something I could quietly do),did my computer stuff for a couple of hours, prepared my Bible
Study Lesson for Thursday Night, made dinner, did the dishes, watched some TV with him for a
couple of hours, took the dog out for his last nightly jaunt, brought him back in and still had
1,500 steps still to get in on My Daily Goal, so for the last 20 minutes of the night
I was out walking in our Apt. Complex with a flashlight to get those last steps in...which I
accomplished...5 minutes before midnight. Came in Ran the Dishwasher, got in my PJ's and onto
the computer for a few more minutes, then I will journal and then Color. So, please don't think I
do Nothing but color my life away...but at the end of the day (along with the walking) it is helping to keep
me Sane!!
And CJ can tell you that many times I post them on
FB and then forget to post them on here until I have a bunch.

Love and Blessings,
Peggy

I love your coloring pages Peggy, they are great!
I will put your hubby in my prayers for getting better and be able to cope better.
You I will put in my prayers for strength through all this and definitely you are getting stronger physically with all those thousands of steps. You take care Peggy,

Peggy, I never once thought all you did was color, cuz I know you have other things in your life! I'm just glad you can do it for your own well-being. Hang in there girlfriend! I have been and will continue to pray for you and your hubby and family!

I'm glad you post your pics here because they are beautiful. It'll be a little while before I have another one colored and ready to post.

Thanks girls...I don't know why I felt the need to share all that early this morning...probably fatigue...
but I do appreciate your prayers. Life is Messy and Crazy on a good day...but when it goes
on like that for awhile...we sort of feel adrift in our own little world. Thanks for your
words of comfort.

Hugs and Smiles,
Peggy
