Yes, I'm ready for the cold and snow. We've had a very long, mostly beautiful autumn here in the Chicago area, but time for a change! I love living in the midwest and our ever changing weather/landscape.

I am ready for the winter. I've never seen snow like that! Loved the picture.

No Snow Please!!! If I want it...I will go up to Mt. Hood and enjoy it for a day up there. But I moved to
Vancouver to get away from the Snow in Spokane 32 years ago. We are having our Fall finally here. Rain and
more rain with cooler mornings. No Frost yet however.

Hey Gracie...is that picture a walker or a snow blower?? Tee Hee...just joking girl!!!

Hugs and Smiles,
Peggy

Gracie! That's HYSTERICAL!

I'm ready... Bring it on!!! One of our local meteorologists said we'll be having a mild November with a couple of inches of snow, a little bit more than that in December, a moderate snow January, and then we'll be blasted with heavy snows in February! I'm good... As long as I don't have to drive in it! ;)

Keep warm, girls, but stay cool!

Hugs -

Just a darn minute far girls before you laugh too hard, that might be me out there this winter. Falling is no joke when you have bad knees. It does make me giggle though when I think of me in that picture.

Nini, as Gracie mentioned us SnowKane girls aren't afraid to drive in the stuff because
we learned to drive in it or else you would be stuck in your house for 5 months out of the Year. LOL!!
Talk about Cabin Fever!!!

Bonnie...I have a bad knee too and it is no laughing matter out there in ice and snow...so just picture yourself
in Grace's Post and add a pillow tied to your butt! Softer Landing and All That!!! Tee Hee Hee!

We are suppose to have another milder winter here again. The Skiers and Snowboarders are all praying for at least
Snow in The Mountains...as last winter was a Bust for Snow Sports around here.

More Later...

Hugs,
Peggy

I am NOT ready! Night before last we had rain and more rain and it was cloudy, chilly and a bit more rainy yesterday. Last night, we got a skiff of snow here at the house . . . the mountains to the east are covered with even more than they were from our last bout of rain. Today IT IS COLD . . . BRRRRR!!!! I AM NOT READY for this!

Grace...Mr. Antlers really is a handsome dude. Great Pictures Girl!!!

Cj...I think snow belongs in Colorado. Your State is known for lots of snow. (+:

Annika...I don't know where you live but did your snow last or did it turn to rain?

I'm ready for cold but not rain or snow. I'm already tired of the rain in just the last
two weeks. Our typical Winter here but I want it to just be cold and dry. I'm really good
with that. We haven't even had Frost yet. Usually around Thanksgiving we start to see
heavy frost that almost looks like snow.

More Later girlies...

The only reason I like winter is because it's great quilting weather and we have a reprieve from constant yard work. Snow is pretty but we can all do without the ice.

I agree with the "vacation" from yard work . . . however, when you have cows then you have to haul water and feed to them!
