Thank you all.....you are so kind.. Visiting India can be a very enlightening experience in many many ways.We have recently been blessed with an additional new home right in back of the old home.......was it needed? No,not really. And in my mindI hate waste.So why not in that more leisurely atmosphere offer hospitality.......could not do that here in the states. But we certainly can over there......and hope to as we had some gals stay with us over the years Before the new house.Now the new house has 4 bedrooms with bathrooms..the old 4and 4.........a lot of space.You may ask why I don't charge........No way........no can do...no want to. Simple. It's just nice in life to be able to offer hospitality..jpg?v 96698843)

Beverly, your home is beautiful! And so is you daughter! When I worked for an airline (and could fly for free) I used to travel when I could. Now my children are little, and it would be so hard. That's wonderful that you're inviting other farmgirls to visit you. You have such a generous spirit! :) I look forward to hearing about your time together.

You have a beautiful home and a beautiful daughter. I would love to visit India someday--I'd be in heaven eating Indian food every day. And I love the clothes. Maybe someday when my ship comes in....

Well in all honesty was never really able to do much entertaining here in the states.You all know what it's like here..........don't get me wrong I love America . But it is a balancing act......work,come home clean,cook,on and on....not much time for much else
Over in India I have help......so it's much easier to entertain..Anyway,hey you all have a nice weekend

Just an update...still hoping Linda and Amy try to get over to India. I am starting to have my textile obsession....got to get over thee and get some clothes made. The tentative date that I leave is September 13 th. And yes I AM packed, but wil l repack a few times.

Do you go back and forth for work? Just wondering. That must be hard though being here for 6 months and then there for 6 months. Have a good trip!!

No Beverley......I was a workaholic.....loved working and hated retirement.....but now enjoy retirement.
There is plenty of volunteer work that I get involved in over in New Delhi....but when I first get back I just want to relax to the max......get my hair done, get a masseuse to come in a few times a week,and go swimming.
I am considering not coming back for 2 years....but I am not sure....I love my roses here...and they took quite a beating this winter....so I am not sure.
I do intend on growing roses on my rooftop over there....that should be fun.
