Winnie, glad you like it. As fast as time is flying these days May will be here before we know it.

Sherry, thanks. I didn't know how far south of me it snowed. It was pretty ~ wasn't it.

Jennifer, thanks. Enjoy working on yours. I would like to see it when it's finished.

Okay, so I get to let you all know 2 of my ideas for how I will be celebrating the Farmgirl Jubilee so I can earn the beginner merit badge.... :)

1. I will be planting a Farmgirl Perennial garden and adding to it each year for the Farmgirl Jubilee.

2. I will be hosting a Farmgirl tea, hopefully outside... on some sort of china, maybe thrifted or use my stash...depending how many people come. I'm going to use all the frilly things I rarely use and need an excuse to and it will be farmgirl chic and ecclectic and a wonderful mess of beautiful things. Plus yummy finger food because you can't have tea unless you have food to go with it! ;)

To celebrate Farmgirl Jubilee, I am hosting our chapter for a camp out which will include a soap making class, a rope making class, fire making, camp out cooking, other activities based on weather (whether or not we have to do this in the garage because of rain). We will all be sporting our Jubilee aprons and I plan to have our picture taken in front of our 1943 farm truck. I am so excited.... :)

I don't have a flag pole on our property and I thought how could I join in and then it came to me. I do have a small hook on side wall of the entry way to our front porch. I could hang my apron there. :)

Bonnie, Nini, & Carole, I am so pleased y'all like my garden flag.

Janice, I'm hanging my apron from a plant hook. There's several hooks on each side of porch ~~ I may go a little bit wild and hang all my aprons out to blow in the wind.

There are so many things I want to do for Jubilee! All of these ideas sound wonderful! Two of ideas I have for celebrating Jubilee are:

1. Make a Farmgirl basket for my neighbor with an apron that I make, tea, and some of my spicy pear jelly I made last summer!
2. Invite my friends over for a garden party, where we will plant veggies and flowers, drink tea and eat goodies!

I've put together a binder to organize some of my plans!

Love the ideas! We loved Sara's banner so much we've asked her if she'd make one for our retail store. Can't wait to put it up every year for Jubilee.

MaryJane, I'm working on it today ~ if the weather holds should mail it tomorrow or next day for sure. I wanted so to tell the other FarmGirls about making it for you, but I didn't want it to come across like I was bragging, so I am so glad you told it. Thank you for asking for one ~ I consider it an honor, and you made me very happy.

Winnie, what praise, I'm blushing. Thanks.

My idea is for everyone to use. It's the kind of idea that can be adapted to the talents and imaginations of others.

The pattern for the aprons is on pg. 220 of MaryJane's Idea Book - I traced it using wax paper. Any type of apron pattern will work. The heart is freehanded. Above it I wrote 'FarmGirl at' with magic marker. The logo was enlarged, printed out and lamented with Press & Seal.

I just love all these suggestions, I am going to be on the look out for an apron cookie cutter, so I can make them and share them during the Jubilee!
