CeeJay, Time does fly by these days, so Jan is not too early for throwing out ideas for our un-coming Jubilee.
Just for the fun of it I'll throw out "In Celebration of Aprons".

Celebrating aprons is a great idea, CeeJay! You know how we all love our aprons and it is one of our trademarks here at MJF. Aprons also make an easy way to share a gift with a neighbor or friend who might not know about MJF. Plus, aprons are just plain cute and cheerful!!

I love the idea of an apron theme. I can picture an apron on my flag.

Good morning Christine. You can read about it here: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/snitz/default.asp?CAT_ID=11
I'm liking an apron theme for sure! In Celebration of Aprons.
Right now, we've been working on a new pattern for an egg gathering apron. So far, Carrie's ideas have been cute, cute, cute.

MaryJane, yes, yes, please yes, an egg-gathering apron. I only have 3 eggs to gather each day but it sure would be fun to have an eggy apron to wear while doing it. And I'm sure all my FarmGirl sisters that don't have chickens can come up with all sort of things to gather into their aprons.

Yes, yes, an egg gathering apron sounds great!! Sara, you are right. Those of us without chickens will easily find other things to carry in the pockets. I can't wait to see what Carrie comes up with!!

An egg gathering apron sounds awesome, because we could also use it to gather garden veggies. There are so many things you could use it for. Farm girl sister Christine.

Aprons are a fabulous idea! And MaryJane is spot-on about the cuteness of Carrie's egg-gathering apron trials

LOL! I was wondering just how many UFOs such an apron would hold.
I made an egg gathering apron for a friend several years ago - and she used it quite a bit.

Did I just read apples to put in the apron???LOL!!!!!!!! Now we're talking' my fantasy! Will you have Carrie use your Chicken fabrics, MaryJane?
Hahahahahaha!! UFOs in an apron pocket! From what I have read here that seems like it could get terribly heavy for some Farmgirls! *wink*

Ceejay, I didn't like the idea of raising chickens either as my dad was a chicken farmer and I hated certain times of the year. (butchering time actually) Plucking was not my favorite job but one I always got stuck with. I do have them now but I don't butcher mine. Would if I had to. I have them for eggs though. Love fresh eggs everyday! I also know that an egg gathering apron would get used for toting lots of things beside eggs though.
