Farmgirl friends, - Yellows, greens, pinks, purples, oranges etc are all welcome to my blanket. I am very excited over the different styles everyone is making. My spring blanket is going to be very special!

I had my colors picked before I got Diana's block in the mail. I did sort of copy her pattern for continuity. Can't wait to see them all.

I made extra's of my block as well! I want to make a full size blanket for the bed. I have all of the blocks so far spread out on my dining room table awaiting the rest of the blocks. Cannot wait to put it all together. Always Simply Silly! |

I am leaving Monday (25th) to head to Las Vegas to visit my son and daughter-in-law and granddaughters. I have 2 blocks yet to make and hope to get them done tomorrow, but there's still a lot to do to get ready to go (since i work full time as well). I will be gone one week and if I don't get them out Monday I will get them in the mail as soon as i return. Happy Easter/Spring everyone!

Nancy I got your email and was able to attach I think the address list. I think there are 2 mistakes on it a number was left off of two address. I really don't know what I am doing when I attach so I hope it got there.

Nancy and Shirley,
I received both of your blocks yesterday. Am trying to think how I am going to place these wonderful blocks together. Which pattern, what color a sashing, binding a backing ?'s, ?'s, ?'s Oh, I will have to pull out my quilting pattern books. Ladies, have any ideas??

I got blocks from Terri, Nancy and Diana also Amy. All the blocks are Beautiful. Can't wait to get the rest of them. the quilt will be beautiful with the light and dark colors we are using.
The distance between friends is never too far |

Theresa and Amy,
I have received your blocks also, both with wonderful colors. Still trying to pick the block that I will be using. Several of the blocks were on my list so I must pick another one. Would you all mind if I used a Civil War pattern? I do love that era. I have made and also in the process of making a Civil War reproduction quilt. Of course I would use our chosen color scheme. They blocks that I have received are all wonderful. Must go.

I am thinking of making my quilt a two-sided quilt with the spring colors on one side and the softer antique-looking colors on the other side. I can fill in with wide frames and borders.
What do you think, girls?
