Yes, past pics would be cool to see. I'm going thru my stash to find the perfect colors. When I see them, I'll know it. Can't wait to sit still and sew!

I have figured what pattern I am going to make! I have the "mind will not sleep at night syndrome" when I am trying to learn how to do something. Life is a big adventure! Thanks my Farm girls for making me stretch to learn. Amy

HI Girls, here is a picture of one of the quilt swaps my sister and I did.It was a red and white
quilt block swap. As you see we both chose a different color to outline our blocks.

Toni,
Isn't it amazing how different the quilts look with just one small change? I can't wait to see the finished products on this quilt swap.

Terri I have a quilt wall I change out seasonally in my Kitchen with table runner or mats to match. It really is fun.

Hi Amy,
I also received my block, wow!! Could you tell me what pattern that is, or how you
did the center of the block? It is wonderful.

Thank you all for your lovely words. I am glad you all like the quilt blocks. It is called the 10 minute quilt block - it takes a lot longer than 10 minutes to make, cutting to final result. You all can google it on YouTube! Glad to be learning something new!

Thanks, Amy,
I made extra of my blocks in case I want to make the quilt bigger. I will need to see more blocks before I can decide on the colors between the blocks. I have the backing material already.

seems to be a purple theme going on. wonder if my blocks will make a jarring statement since very little purple was used. The ones i made are not all the same colors nor even the same style of block. being new to this i wasn't sure what to do. possibly more information when posting the rules? ie: you can make one style block using the same colors.. or.. do your own thing and mix it up (which is what i did) these are my very first pieced blocks. ever. and i'm quite proud of them :)
