The tree is part of the picture in the center with the sheep and house, I believe it is called the tree of life. Both pictures Maddie painted, the one with the Bear as well, they are not cross stitch. I also forgot I got an insulated Flag Drinking cup with straw, that will get lots of use believe me.
Thank you again Maddie.
Hugs,
Debbie

Debbie, I love all your 4th of July goodies form Maddie, I am proud to say, I own a few of her Mini Masterpieces from ATC swaps. One with my Beloved Sheep on it! She is, and you are, and all these Farm Sisters on here, are Remarkable Women! I feel so lucky to have found all of you at Mary Jane's Farm! I hope to get Better at my crafting, and rest up my hands more, so I can sew, so I can add more homemade things to my swaps! I love to scout about for things that I know a Farm Sister loves!

Christine - Just want to let you know my hubby just dropped your box of goodies off at the Post Office. We've shipped it Priority Mail, so it should only be a few days! Enjoy! Hugs - Nini

Thank You Debbie for all the kind words :) As you all know Debbie (Blessed in Colorado) is my swap partner. I received her amazing package of Patriotic goodness yesterday. I emailed Debbie to thank her & let her know I would post today. Debbie is a remarkable person. She volunteers as a dispatcher for her Fire Department & takes meals to them on the fire line. As you all know, there is a roaring fire consuming Colorado, not far from Debbie. Debbie,I will keep you & the firemen in my prayers, also Debbie's husband fights fires from the sky, it goes without saying he will have a candle lite & prayers said for his safety while flying & fighting the fires. She loves spending time with her son, friends & four fur babies :) Thank You Debbie for such an array of Patriotic fare. She made a jean pocket & added to it a red bandana, a Patriotic glider plane, which the child in me will love playing with LOL. Also a sweet & tiny pin wheel with stars on it. She sent a hanging star cushion, butter mints, star shaped candles, tea from Colorado, a picture frame ( you know some folk art will grace it ;)). She made me a red, white & blue dish cloth, too wonderful for dishes, I have plans to use it differently :) She also sent a small felt pin to wear & some seeds. Debbie Thank You for blessing me with your generosity & for sharing a small part of your heart :) Oh! I almost forgot, Debbie wrapped everything in red, white & blue tissue paper & tied bows, which of course were R-W-B.

Debbie :) Some of those bows, your pin wheel & dish cloth have been turned into, this little Patriotic Baby. He is sitting upon a tin star, received from another farm sister & here is his friend. Haven't named them yet, any ideas ?

Maddie, I love all your goodies from Debbie, That pocket is sooooo cute! The Baby and Puppy are just too cute! I join you in praying for Debbie's home and all of Colorado affected by the fires, My cousin's family lives in loveland and they can see and smell the smoke and were told to keep their windows up. They travel to Ft. Collins quite often for shopping.

Thanks everyone for your concern. Our 3 fires near us are now out thanks to some good rains last night and some very brave firemen. But, the big one in Ft. Collins which is much further away from us is still going strong. They need a lot of rain in that area to put it out.
I too continue to keep all our firemen and women in my prayers.
Hugs,
Debbie

Yes Lord let it rain in Fort Collins enough to put out the fires but not enough to bad damage. Keep the people safe and the firefighters safe as they fight the fires and protect the people.

Good morning, girls! Congratulations Maddie! And WOW do I love your patriotic dolls!!! :) My sister said the fire is only about an hour from her. Her girlfriend lives not much closer but wakes up every morning covered in the smell of smoke from the fire. God bless and help everyone involved. SO scarey! - Nini
