Southern California coast is 62 degrees with 50% chances of rain Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Praying for rain this week as we really could use some!

The snow has finally stopped here in the Chicago area. We have well over a foot of it out there after nine consecutive days of snow. This is a picture of my back deck that I took just before I shoveled it off. Chilly today and tomorrow, but then we go up above freezing. It is beautiful outside, but I'm tired of shoveling. Looking forward to an early spring!

What an amazing picture Dawn, although I am sure it's not much fun dealing with the freezing temperatures.

Thanks Jana. Actually this snowstorms temps weren't bad, around 20 which is warm for us in February. Back in December we had 3+ weeks of -20, so you can understand why we think anything above zero is nice!

We are having sun for 2 days. (that big yellow thing in the sky, for those of you who don't see it much this time of year). I DO empathize!
It hasn't gone above 32, but that sunny glow is soooooo PREETY!!! *giggle* We are expecting rain for next 3 days and the temp going up to 57 by Thursday!!! WHAT!!! Oh, don't worry, we are dipping down into the 30's the day after and snow is returning(there it is... normal Ohio for February)hahaha

RAIN, rain, RAIN!!!! My garden needs plowing and it's so muddy I sink to my ankles in cow manure mix! I am dying to put out some flowers and probably can in pots and for the next 15 days or so the lowest it will get is in the 40's. The Japanese magnolias are blossoming, the frogs have come back to the pond, the beavers are ready to have another kit and the first Purple martin scout has claimed one of the houses! I FEEL SPRING coming on!!!!

Snow and ice in the panhandle! Here in East Texas it is Rain, rain and more rain! Our farm is muddy! Tarps up around pens to keep some of the pens dry. Laid out a board and brick pathway so we would not slide down in the mud. Tomorrow it isn't suppose to rain so much. Farmgirl Hugs #5589

The Ohio River is predicted to crest at 60 feet. Several small communities along it are flooded.

Grace---I have you so beat. Our weather is beautiful. In the seventies with blue skies and the beautiful spring green of the leaves against the sky. Cool sleeping nights. I am in hillbilly heaven. And hubby goes on vacation for 12 days on Monday. We are going to gramp in our cabin shack and have a great time. Minus all the tons of farm work todo. It will be mostly work---but we love to work together and then kick back at night.

Sounds like Ohio weather. At the end of may we had 2 days of 90's. Then it danced around a whole bunch of mixed-up weather. Then last night and the night before we had 47&49, with daytime temps only in the low to mid 60's. Now today we're back to normal Ohio spring weather in the 70's.

Well I don't know personally how it is in SoCal as I am 3 states away but here in East Texas it is warm, starting to be sunny and a smidge humid. I know it is just the tip of the humidburg but it is nice out here.

We are meeting with our agent today to see some places. Very excited but also nervous. Hubby moved every two years during his childhood. Me, never. I have only lived in two different houses my entire life. Kinda scary but ready to move.

Had to go out today to pick up groceries. My car temp for outside read 116 degrees. I don't ever remember it being this hot in my area. and it isn't cooling down any time soon. Whew!

Today, Sunday - was such a beautiful warm day. The humidity was low and the air felt healthy. It should always feel like this.

Hot and partly foggy, and some smokiness from all the fires,
Just a note of interest if you have clear night skies you might go and see the Perseid meteor shower..
