Wondering if any one wants to do a yo-yo swap. I would be happy to be the sorter.
* quilting quality fabric (not too thin) * How about 4 fabrics, and each person send 1 yo-yo of each fabric for each person?- So if 5 people sign up, each would send out 20 yo-yos, 5 of each of the four fabrics. * Please include sase in the same amount as the original package/envelope. * Deadline for signup is Aug 31, fabrics to be sent in by the Sep 15, and you will receive the packages back by the 30 of september. Just is time to entertain yourself after the kids have gone to school or to make christmas stuff.
we can all vote on a cut size of circle.
have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe

Sounds good to me, Sunshine. Count me in. We used a CD for a template last time and it worked out well.

That sounds good! Funny you say that as that is what I was thinking as pretty much everyone has one of those. That also makes it easy to add to what you already have. This should be real simple as everyone will have to only mail things once. Once to me, then I put then in the mail with their sase and it is once back. Not 15 packages going everywhere and then you forget who you did and did not mail. And with dead lines it keeps people on their toes and moving right along. More Fun for everyone this way.

I'm easy. Whatever you girls want to do is OK with me. I think we should wait to get started to give other ladies a chance to join us, too.

I'd like to be in on the swap too. I just started making yo-yo's for another project, but the larger ones will fit right in too! |

I'm new to this. I have never made a yo yo before but would like to learn. I do have a few "cd's" around my house...just don't know how to sew them together. Can you help me? |

My 8 and 7 year olds want to be in the swap is that ok with everyone. If you say yes I will add them to the list if not they won't be added. thank you for looking at this and taking time to think of them. sunshine
i will make sure their work is quality. I know the oldest has done quilts before so no biggie there it would be the youngers first major project. But she makes things al the time and I think she will do just fine.
have a lovely day and may God bless you and keep you safe

I am so encouraged to know that someone young wants to quilt. We need them to participate. What a great project to start with. Randi <><

I'll wait to see if a few more people say it is ok. Also I was just thinking even though we are still adding people at this point it might be best to start. So there won't be a mad rush at the end andding a few yo-yo's at the end for late joiners is easier than doing the whole group. The girls are helping they are tracing the templates while I cut. We will all sew should be interesting and a patients builder for them and me.
