Thank you to my secret sister for the wonderful gift of a country star basket, a fern-design stationary set, and a country primitive "always kiss me goodnight" ornament. Wow ~ my Secret Sister is ready to go.. I received a lovely watercolor kit from her this weekend. I have NEVER watercolored, but I am going to try my hand at it. The kit is absolutely wonderful..... thank you so much Secret Sister!

Received this Delightful Little Surprise Pkg in my mail box today. I was sooooo excited!!
It was cool too because today I was planting my Vegetable Garden and purchased some flowers!
for my Porch. So, the timing of your seed packets was Perfect! Must have been a God thing!
Loved the Inspirational Theme to everything also. Oh and by the way...I use those little
Purse Mini-pads all the time and am just about out of the paper in the one I am carrying
right now. Love it, Love it, Love it! Thanks for making a good day even better. I loved everything!

Secret Sister,
Thank you so much for the package awaiting me in my mailbox. After the week I've had, it almost brought me to tears that someone was actually thinking of me. I love it all! Since we have to provide some of our supplies where I work, the special sticky notes are going with me and that way everybody will know who is writing the message to them and I will let them know it is from my Secret Farmgirl Sister. The note book is going in my purse and I have just the book for the bookmark (Debbie Macomber's "Knitted Together" - just started reading it). Beautiful gift cards and the tea will wait until the weekend when I can really enjoy it. Thank you for everything, including the clipboard and note cards. I really enjoyed the note, also and was glad to know a little something about you, too. I am so happy now.

Oh my!!! What a surprise to get a wonderful box full of beautiful goodies today! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! The boxed contained package after package... A beautiful (and I think possibly handmade) journal, cute sunflower wall hook, fun Gooseberry Patch books, an adorable herb pot and bright flower seeds. Every package was wrapped with a different colored ribbon which was so fun and perfectly me. THANK YOU!

This is always so much fun. I love reading how great it makes the day to get Farmgirl mail. Whoever thought of this in the first go round had such a great idea! Isn't it amazing how when we send or receive things, it is just when we need a picku-me-up the most. :D

Dear Secret sister,
I received a card with a package of cilantro seeds in it today. It was so nice to open a friendly piece of mail. I have had a nasty two days and the card was a very bright spot. the nice thing about a card is that I can read it over again and be smiling because someone thought enough of me to send a nice card.
Anyway back to the garden. It is 48'X56' or so. I am trying to work out a mulching system so the soil will be replenished and the weeds will be minimal. lol Our elelvation is only 684' but our growing season with the last frost maybe the end of May and the first expected again the second week of September.
Secret sister please check the zip code the one on the envelope should have had a 2 in the last digit place instead of a 0.

I have the best secret sister! I received the most wonderful package today, it is rainy, gloomy and the weatherman even said that nasty S word again so I really needed a pick-me-up and boy did my secret sister do that!!! I received a beautiful quilted bag, lavender reed defuser, a bottle of bubble bath, tea, spring stamps and a lilac stamp pad, a little handmade doll to go on my desk, a tube of hand lotion, a bar of handmade soap wrapped in handmade paper, a crochet hook in a size I didn't have, (were you peeking in my basket :)some miniture cupcake liners, which I just love since when I make muffins I always make a pan of mini's too (that way I can eat more and not feel quilty :), a bag of my favorite licorice and the most wonderful thing of all a little pair of garden gloves and trowel with a note for the grandkids to help me in the garden!! Oh Secret Sister you make me feel very spoiled and I Thank You from the bottom of my heart.

To my Secret Sister: Yahooooo! Thank you so much for the wonderful box just filled with notecards! :)The pen with the butterfly is adorable! My daughter has already tried to make off with it, but this time I'm not sharing ...hehe! The little sunflower plant hook is so pretty!
Thank you so much for brightening up my day! I love everything just to pieces! I can hardly wait to use the notecards as I am a big letter writer. :D

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL ROUND #10 SECRET SISTERS:
WE HAVE SOME VERY NEW FARMGIRLS IN THIS ROUND AND I GOT TO THINKING THAT MAYBE THEY
REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW SECRET SISTERS WORKS. SO HERE ARE A FEW GUIDELINES FOR ALL:
1. Please try to send a gift(s) every couple of weeks not just once a month.
2. Please include a note or letter each time telling a little something about yourself (with-out giving away exactly who you are and where you are from).
3. Always send NEW items. Don't send things that you just have hanging around the house. It can actually be a re-gift item...if it is New in appearance and condition.
4. Put special thought in to your SS's likes and dislikes. Remember this isn't about purchasing things you like...but that she put down on her Secret Sister Sheet that she likes.
5. Gifts do not have to be expensive but it should always be more than just a card or a bookmark or a pencil. Remember your SS has a SS also and if she is really a good SS she is putting a lot into her gifts for someone else...so, make sure you are putting a lot into your gifts for her.
6. Above all (and I have mentioned this before) be COMMITTED! Be the Very Best Secret Sister that you can be.
7. AND HAVE FUN BEING A GOOD GIVER...as well as a happy receiver!
I hope this adds some clarification for our Newbies and also
a little refresher for those of us who have been in Secret Sisters
before.

Dear Secret Sister ~ Thank you so much for your letter and the beautiful earrings and necklace, I love jewelry, and the colors are perfect. Your friend did a beautiful job making it. I enjoyed your letter too telling me a little bit about yourself and family. I am with you I will do anything to get out of cleaning, hubby is gone for 5 months, so I will not have to clean nearly as much:-)We are close in age, I have a 36 year old son, no grandchildren yet, and hubby and I will be married 37 years in August:-)Let me know when the new granddaughter is born, I would love a photo,

Today in the mail I received from you an apron gift pack made by out very own CJ Armstrong, a summer apron with strawberries on it, a notepad and 2 different types of recipe cards tucked inside the little pocket, thanks secret sis what a win-win situation; I got the cautest apron and CJ got an order, what a great idea! My dd#2 delivered my mail this morning and I rec'd a lovely card with some teas to sample! I was both surprised and delighted!

And I have to add.....that sneaky post office must be in cahoots with you....they didn't even cancel the postage stamp....nothing, nada...no clues whatsoever!!! You must have "connections". ;) LOL

Hi Secret Sisters...this is just a little reminder that if you haven't as of yet mailed out to your Special Secret Sister...SHE is probably now camped out by her mail box...anxiously awaiting something fun, besides those usual bills. I will try to keep reminding

Thank you so much for my sweet Secret Sister. I am so sorry I did not respond sooner. I have had no internet, lost a job,and have started a new job. I love my gifts so very much. The shoping list note pad, recipie cards and beautiful Tags that I will use on my products :). I havent been able to take a picture yet but I will this week. Your gifts made my day and calmed my mind to get creative, when these last couple of weeks have been so crazy and stressful. I dont have friends out here to talk with or share with. It can get pretty lonley without having a girl friend to share Girl Stuff with. It was so nice to reacive your gift. Thank you so very much. BIG HUG :)

Thank you so much SS for my great gifts today. I didn't get to the Post office till today and it had been sitting there since Friday. Oh my, I love the handmade altered journal, it is so pretty. I will keep that for something special. The chocolate candy will be delicious I know. I love the little hand sanitizer, as I use those all the time. The Creative magazine I can't wait to devour!!!! WOW, you so made my day!!!!

Dear Secret Sister,
Thank you so much for the package I received in the mail yesterday afternoon. The envelope had a stamp imprint of chickens on it. Inside the package was a nicely wrapped group of surprises. It contained a flour sack towel with an appliqued cherry on it. There is a blank garden journal with just the right spaced lines so I will not get overwhelmed trying to fill the page. There is a pad of garden To Do lists. it has magnets on the back so I can hang it up high enough so I can still seee it and my three yo can not reach it. :) There is a brightly crocheted square. I thought it might be a trivet but my foster daughter's day worker said it is a dishcloth. So, a dishcloth it will be. There were also two squares of material that are silk screened with a variety of farm motifs on them. I am not quite sure what the intended purpose is for these squares but I will find one.
Thank you secret sister for thinking so kindly of me. My children were very impressed and it is hard to impress them because they are teens with attitude. they are 16b, 14g and 13b.
My favorite color is green.
