For the month of August we will make ATC's with the theme of CUPCAKES.
Oh what fun and happiness we can create with this theme. This will get us creating for the rest of the summer until the wonderful fall season begins.
Below are listed the girls for whom I have received their cupcake ATC's.....

Try not to use just cupcake stickers only on your cards--create!
Remember to put your name, MJF number, date, and the number of the ATC's on the back of your card.
Please make sure the glue is dried on your cards before you wrap them to send.
**Include 5 stamps to cover the cost of mailing your cards back to you.**
Sign up ends July 23rd and send out will be August 10th.
There is an ATC written tutorial in the Farmgirl Swap topics for the new girls who might want to join. It tells what an ATC is...

Hi Lorraine Michelle, There is an ATC tutorial on the farmgirl swap forum that explains what ATC's are. After reading that, if you have any questions please let me know. I may be on the second or third page of the farmgirl swap forum...Smiles.....

Please count me in, too! I've never made an ATC but I've always wanted to try to make some. Cupcakes are a definite favorite of mine...especially to eat!!! This is one way to cut back on the calories!!!

Thanks girls for the encouragement!!
I will be taking off on the "Women of the Wild West/Farmgirls on the Loose" Road Trip . . . gotta' go tame the wild west and hug the necks of . . .and kick up my heels with . . . all those other "footloose farmgirls" ya' know. BEFORE we join up for the Kickoff for the road trip, my daughter and I will be working as crew members for the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer Rocky Mountains event which starts in 3 weeks!!! After that and before we start the road trip we have a Farmgirls Southwest Henhouse "Chick" meet and greet in Denver. It'll all be one big trip!!
Sooooooo, I think I better not try to "bake" cupcakes!!! I will miss it though . . .:(

OK, I've never done an ATC before but we call my 3yo GD "Katie cupkake" so I guess I should get in on this. Please sign me up too. We'll see what happens...LOL Joey

As of June 3rd, we have 11 girls signed up....Lorraine Michelle and Marilyn have expressed interest, just not officially signed at this point. Just to let ya'll know. This set of ATC's will arrive in a new way, just be looking for the surprise!! Who loves cupcakes????? We do, We do!!!!

For all the new girls coming in, I thought this might be helpful so all will know about ATC's.
Artist Trading Cards (ATC) are small works of art. They are 2 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches long. You may use scrapbook paper and glue it onto a sturdy card board or card stock backing. You can also use regular playing cards as a backing.
Usually ATC's will have a theme and you create your work of art according to the theme. You may use whatever you choose to create your card, however, just sticking a sticker on the card and calling it an ATC is not the idea behind an ATC.
You can use brads, chipboard stickers, craft paper, scrapbook papers, paper doilies, ribbon, rhinestones, etc to decorate your card.
On the back you need to include your name, your user name for Mary Jane Farm, the date, the name of the swap, and the number of the card. Example: If you make 10, you would number them as, 1 of 10,2 of 10, etc.
Each swap will be different as to the number of cards you will make and the theme of the swap. The best way to know what ATC's are is to join a swap, make yours and receive the others.
We have seen that sending all the cards to one person and that person sorting them and mailing them back to each farmgirl, keeps the cost of postage way down. You will send 4 postage stamps to the person hosting if they choose to handle it that way. Just have fun....
