I have tried emailing you but you don't have an email listed with MJF.

The beehive will be red as it is a red work block for MJF quilt.

No I can't really give you a total of towels because I was buying new ones at the time and just cut up all my old ones. I know with wool it is a little over 1 pound per square foot.
Collect them from neighbors announce it during church when its just ladies you know what I mean. I did that too I just said I am making a rug for my bathroom and need towels to do it. I probably had about 20 towels left on my doorstep. If I made them again I would cut my stripes 3 inches wide not what I did as towels are thicker and harder to fold if you cut them to narrow. Cut off the ends of the towel where it is sewed back on it's self cut off the sides where the selvage is then just take a rotary cutter and ruler and cut three inch lengths. Cut the length of the towel not the width. Sew stripes together on an angle. I can explain this better over the phone. But that is a good start at least collect , wash and cut the towels. Also get some heavy cord to stitch with. Some people use carpet thread but that breaks two easily over time linen cord is best. You can also use a waxed cord that you can buy from a cobbler. The wax dosen't cause a problem other than harder the tie together the ends. It actually lubriates the cord and keeps it from getting brittle from getting wet and dry all the time works well with wool too. I repaired some of my great aunts rugs a few years back ( holes from use and furniture). The rugs that used waxed cord where stronger than the ones that just used linen cord. Usually runs about 50 to 75 dollars a bolt but alot of times you can buy a partial bolt (spool) from a cobbler for much less as it doesn't take much to do a bathroom rug. Dark rug dark cord like rug ligkt cord. Hope this gets you started

frannie you can have some of each just say please and they will be yours. I'll measure my kids heads tomorrow I like the larger pin cusion ( I am guessing that is the price difference). I guess the hat prices are due to the sizes I figure hat out tomorrow I like hats loose too.

it has been a little while since I posted a picture so here is a quilt I am working on. Much bigger in size then the other grandmothers flower garden. It is real long and skinny so it can be used on a couch/sofa.

this is all hand stitched and hand cut with scissors not rotary cutter. The pink border is from a comforter that we used when we use to teach nursery at church for 1 1/2 -3 years, they sat on it during sing time and gathering time. It fell apart. Now it is a sort of a rememberance blanket of all those 1 1/2 to 3 year old we taught. Who are all about 16 weird thought. I have not seen them in 6 years we moved I don't think I would ever recognize them now or they me. They will always be little kids to me.

how old will he be so I know what size to look for. There are not many patterns for boys. But I have modified a few that where for newborns that I could make for you. But I would need to know what size to make. If you want to make it your self that is fine if the kid is newborn then I could get you the patern number and you could find it on the internet as it is out of print but not out of copywrite so I can not copy it for you. I would be happy to make one and trade supplies if money is a problem.

She probably did learn to walk, as she has been visiting for a while.

Sunshine,

I think you are an amazing artist. Is there anything your don't do? I think you are a better version of Martha Stewart. I think you need your own TV show.
