Sorry I have been busy as of late.
I started her dress today too.
There is another picture on my blog from the front it was just to big to post here it would have been like the bobbin lace photo.
Which I deleted and just left on my blog it was just so hugh it was crazy.

My husband claims all journals belong to the family for he and my girls to write in sorry not selling them at the moment. In the next two years I plan on getting a guillitine ( book board cutter). Then I plan to get back into making books then when the books are being made again he will let me sell them. But for now they are his prizzed (sp?) possesions and the girls ( our kids). Sorry!!!!!!!

Effie looks great, and she seems so happy, are you spoiling her? What kind of a camp are the kids going to and are they all going? Hope they have a good time, I used to love camp.

If I have time I will post some more stuff this after noon around two if not tomorrow some more rugs. One in my long hall wool braided one. One by my washer crochet cotton scraps shaabby chich type of thing , not sure I would call it chick though just functional. And two from my upstairs bath that are braided but they are made out of recycled old towels. Maybe an old halloween costum or a few that I made in the past. More than likely be tomorrow as I have a crazy day ahead of me.

I posted this in two spots one on the rug making topic and one here Didn't know who would been interested. I figured some might be interested who weren't looking at making a rug now. More and FYI type of thing. I did close ups of these on the blogg most of which can be inlarged twice by clicking on the photo twice.

This is to show you some lace I have made at the moment. Tell me if you like any of it.
1. one is pink and is an insertion/ all crochet
2. yellow varigated and white trim /all crochet
3. Dark yellow varigated with white crochet trim ( tatting is vintage 1960's or earlier
4. Orange and black with broom stick lace ( the black part) I started making this for a apron I have planned but I have enough to share with you too.

I really like the quilt block, very cute...what color are you going to do the beehive?
