So glad you like that one Tasha, that one IS my Goddess creation! On the back side are the more vibrant colors and golden dragons on a fushia background. Yes, my dress form is Andrea. The girls named her! The wire one doesn't have a name yet. Any suggestions? She is going to the Metaphysical shop. Oh, my greenwitch daughter dressed them! LOL....she wants to go into fashion design. The pink bandana fabric is a vintage piece! So, so glad you liked it. Oh, and thanks for the moon information you posted above. I'm learning so much from all of you!

I'm going to try to post the oil painting that I won on ebay today. I think it's really pretty.

Sarah,

I am a Christian and I was not offended by your post. I know some folks like that too. But we are not all like that. I think Jesus might like to read all of your posts and blogs and he would probably have some valuable comments. He loved nature and children. I try not to judge (lest I be judged in return).

I may not agree with everything I read but it is not my place to criticize. We each walk the path of our choice and we live with the choices we make. My God is a loving God and He created the earth, moon, stars, etc. I love nature and everything it entails.

I just wanted you to know that not all Christians will shove it up your nose. But I understand fully how you can feel that way.

Blessed are those who love the soil,

Patsy

Sarah, beautiful painting. She is so pretty! I know you are thrilled to have won that auction! Thanks for sharing, and I sure don't know how to post photos here either, so I usually just post to my blog and then leave a link to anything else!

Kim, I haven't seen Blessed Be, but I do read Sage Woman. Lovely writing and wonderful information. Also love the ads in the back! *g* Kinda like a Sears Catalog for me! LOL

Patsy, you are a very sweet gal. Your brethern should consider themselves very blessed to have someone as loving and kind as you in the congregation!

Thank you Kim,
I think that is the one (Blessed Bee) that I remember reading about, now that you mention it, that I could submit some of my fiction work too. A dear friend said that I should submit a story I wrote to Sage Woman, but their guidelines say they do not take fiction, but I remember reading that BB does. Hmmmm...thanks for bringing that title back into my thoughts!

Oh, my skirts, yes, I have just taken all of those skirts plus a red one to the local Metaphysical shop called: The Guardian Dragon. They are going to sell them there, well hopefully! They have had the red one there for a week and many of their customers are asking when they are going to get the skirts in and when they can buy them. Kind of excited about it! This is my first venture into persons buying my clothing! Cool....if you are interested, I could make a custom one for you in your choice of colors. I kind of don't know what to price them at though. I try to sew everything very carefully. I'm working on some black skirts right now. I'll post photos of them when they are completed. And thank you so much for commenting on them! G

I haven't seen Sage Woman, Faeries or Blessed Be. I'll have to check into those books that Kathy mentioned.

Ok, so what is a green witch? A natural green witch?

Tasha that is so true that the moon affects people and any living thing. My parents have always planted garden and worked cattle by the moon. I've seen it in my kids and with the people at work, they act differently around full moon time. I will start paying attention everyday though to how I feel and act and what happens in life by the moon. Maybe if I can squeeze in some time I will keep a journal of it. For a long time I've thought the moon affects things.

Georgann that is fantastic that you will be selling your skirts in a shop. I would think that you will be running your sewing machine alot to keep up with orders.

Blessings....
Sarah

Just to let you know that magick is alive and well in the Enchanted Wood. To answer your question about being a green witch - I am very intune to Mother Nature/Earth and the elements - I feel that I have a special ability to communicate with nature and animals....I have frequent conversations with both lol

She was very family oriented and did a lot of recycling. She also (and her husband and boys) meditated, worshipped Goddess and has alters, compost pile etc. Good things for the earth!

Blessed be
