With all the talk about journals and old diaries, I thought it might be neat to start a journal swap, we can make one if you have the time and talent or we can just buy one and exchange it with another farmgirl, leaving a personal message inside of course. Anyone up to another swap? This might just encourage us to keep our journals going, I know I am starting another one soon. Who wants to swap journals?

Sue - that sounds like such a fun idea - I am about halfway through my current journal/notebook and not quite ready to start a new one, but what fun to have a journal started with a message from a fellow farmgirl. What a great idea!

Thanks Libbie, I was beginning to think I'd have no takers on this, who can't use more journals esp. one picked out with a personal message from a fellow farmgirl? Let's give it some more time to see if anyone else wants to swap journals, if not, I'll be looking forward to swapping with you!

Girls, once we get close to the deadline, I'll explain more. I just thought since all the talk about journaling here in the forums has inspired me to keep up with mine better, I thought it would be fun to swap journals with other farmgirls, you can make one or buy one, what ever you fell like doing. I"ll draw names of girls to swap with and it's that easy. Should be fun. I thinking about buying one and decorating it up and of course starting it off with a personal message and keepsake. Just another way for our creative minds to have more fun! Glad to have more join in!

Count me in! Whew! I'm glad I read this post today, I made it just in time. I used to be a huge journal writer during my 20s, but have not been able to keep one going for the past 5 years or so. I JUST started a new one this weekend with solid intentions to keep it up! I'd love to have some farmgirl enthusiasm to keep me going with my latest urge to write. Fun!

Perfect, we got a even number! Welcome summerbreeze! Ok, this will be simple, I've paired us up in order that we joined the swap, so find your partner:
Junebug & Libbie
Carolinagirl & Dargaonfly
Glorybee & Aunt Jenny
Mumof3 & Garasrose
Shepherdress & Happymama58
Buttercup & Cmandle
Mburns & Summerbreeze

So, find, make or buy a journal, decorate it farmgirl style, personalize it and be sure to sign it, the sky is the limit! Hopefully, some of us can post pics of our new journals once they arrive too. I plan to decorate one and add farmgirl touches, so let's get creative and send a keepsake to treasure! Let's get them mailed off by the 21st. that gives us 2 weeks, should be plenty of time, if you need more time, besure to email your partner and let her know. I can't wait to hear about everyones journal so besure to brag! Happy journaling ladies!!
