Love all the pictures! Love all the names!

TeaLady and ShabbyMs, I make them homemake doggy treats! Really, my DD trains them. They are standing on the platform to their doggy pool and are waiting for the OK to jump in!

Happy to be a "Raggedy Ann" in a Barbie World!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

My dog's name is Molly McGee. I just wanted to name her an Irish name. When she is naughty I call her Molly Mayhem McGee!!!!

I'll have to work on getting new pictures of Hector and Maggie - I haven't had the camera out for a while.

Tara - your furbabies are adorable - Vegas looks so innocent, but I have a feeling that could be misleading... Are your Dobermans miniatures or regular? I have a friend who has a black lab named Bailey too. We were just talking about him today - he'll be 8 years in a couple months and acts like he's still a pup. He never slowed down! Play, play, play...

Diane - Molly McGee is beautiful and I'm so impressed with your grandpups - not to mention your daughter for being able to train them so well. Wow! That's quite an accomplishment.

My sister's dog had a run-in with a skunk and ran in the house and nose-dived on her new carpeting before she could catch him. Ugh! She was not a happy camper... He's a Jack Russell mix and he's fast!

Its so fun looking at the pictures - let's keep 'em coming!

This is Sophie. She's a Rat terrier and she's almost 14.

Kris - Bubba and Sophie are adorable... Bubba looks like a character and Sophie looks so lovable... She also looks great for her age...

Elaine - your little Jasmine is so pretty. Love the name... She looks quite comfy on the blanket.

I'm dealing with a lot of mud right now - Hector and Maggie have been getting a lot of baths lately and we're always washing dog towels. :o)

This is Sissy - my good friend's dog. She took time to enjoy the day and smell the flowers. Sissy is 13 years old and doing well. She has a "Collar Flower" on made by my granddaugher, Lucy - is making these to raise money for the humane society.

My little furkid, Penny the Pooch, has come down with idiopathic vestibular disease. She walks around unbalanced and unsteady on her feet. Nothing they can do for it. Have any of you experienced this syndrome?

Betty - no, I had never even heard of this - so I looked it up. The online site I looked at said it lasts from a few days to three weeks. Is Penny still having problems? It also said they wouldn't eat or drink - is that true? How awful... I wonder if acupuncture would help. Is Penny an older dog? Poor thing. Let us know when she gets better.

Well, ladies when we took my beloved Frasier to vet for his shots on Saturday & the Vet spoke to us about the big E. She said his demensia has taken its toll and we should be concidering it. Don't get me wrong he does have bad days but not usually in a row. He sleeps often but when he is awake he is often pacing and under stress (of course the kitchen remodel doesn't help). He has been to 3 homes and two husbands but always my very faithful companion. I have always been told that you will know when its time but I just don't think it is yet. Would you keep us in your thoughts while I mull things over.

Ran some additional test and we know he is not sick or in pain just old and probably not all there. We have purchased a diaper and refused the doggy downers. Made it easier for him to get up and down from couch to floor etc. I am letting the good Lord tell me when the time is right but I don't think is is now. We mark the bad days on the calender and so far there are more good days than bad. I love my boys and I respect my vet...but for now we will wait. The other day we all had a good laugh. The girls were here for our chapter meeting and there were two new gals and it was thier very first meeting. My beau came thru and the dogs wandered in and as everyone was greeting them I mentioned to the two new gals that Friasier was old and couldn't see or hear and just then in a flash he jumped up and snagged one of the gals plate of food...to which I said "but there seems to be nothing wrong with his nose!" and apolagized. Everyone laughed really hard and I hadn't seen him move that fast in a long long time. Boy those furbabies sure can surpise you!

Lorraine, Penny is somewhat better. She ran out the back door yesterday and looked for her tennis ball. When she found it she fell head over heels. It would be funny if I didn't know what was going on. She is 13 years old and the love of my life. I live alone and she keeps me going, especially last year when I had cancer. I had a reason to get up and get going in the morning with feeding her, brushing her, and just taking care of her. Can you tell, I love her?

I just had a phone call from my vet. She also referred to Penny's problem as "Old Dog Disease." It has something to do with the inner ear.

Ginny, I absolutely love your Oggie! Missing my bunny tremendously. He, too, was litter box trained, and leash trained as well! Had so much fun with him, and took him quite a few places. He loved to take a car ride with Mama!

LOL - I love all your pics! I must say though, Lorraine, your Maggie is a cutie in her own pool! Gee, I thought my furbabies were spoiled! So looks like I'm the odd one in the group. My furbabies are two cats and a bunny. All three rescues - Arty (black cat) we got at a yard sale. He was the only kitten left. He's now 14. Pewter (gray cat) came strolling out of a bon fire we had of trash tenants left behind. He's about 11 now. And Oggie (the mini-lop bunny) was our daughters and she begged us to take him when she moved back into the college dorm. We never gave him back. He's 5 now, and free to roam in the house. He uses a little box (most of the time) or at least poops in his area. We have little carpet trails for him through out the house because he won't walk on the tile, wood, or laminate flooring. Pewter and he get along well but he terrorizes Arty because he knows Arty doesn't like him. And my business was inspired by Oggie! I sell organic treats to other bunny owners.

Betty - hopefully, things will turn around soon for Penny. Everything I read said it didn't last too long. What does the vet say? I'll definitely keep her in my prayers. I know how important our furbabies are to us.

Cheryle - hope Frasier is doing ok.

God bless you both...

Had to share this funny picture of Maggie - she thinks she's hiding while she's waiting for me to throw her frisbee.

gosh ladies a few good giggles to get caught up on. Gosh, aren't we all lucky so sweet and funny little four legged bundles of joy. My Frasier is holding his own. We had to pace him in the heat yesterday and poor Brusier the hubs decided to take kitchen sheers to his coat and now the poor puppy looks like he' s got mange (spelling)as his hair is all choppy and I swear he is imbarressed to out to make! Now that the kitchen reno is complete the man needs a task!
