Anyone up for another road trip???
The apron exhibit will run through to beginning of Arpil, so how about a trip to see the Cowgirl Hall of Fame and the exhibit?
This will be part of a series of ROAD TRIPS inspired by "Women of the Wild West" book.
Any other sites or suggestions for the series please post.
I have several, but looking for more participation.
The Cowgirl Hall of Fame is in Fort Worth, Texas.
Thinking end of March for this one.

AWEEE! you are so lucky!
I have snow up to my eyeballs, well, almost! lol! and it is suppose to snow agin tonight!
My trailers are still tucked away for the Winter and probablly won't break out till late April! bummer!!!!!

Oh my goodness gracious, what fun! March is a long ways away in my world, but I'm gonna keep an eye on this thread and see how the months progress. A trip to Fort Worth to see the apron exhibit sounds like so much fun! And who doesn't love a road trip!? I'm fairly new to the connection and just starting to catch the sewing bug... specifically an apron.

My dogs love it. Have 7 St. Bernards and they like to sleep outside in the stuff. The kennels are built off my heated garage, but nnooooo they sleep/ SNORE outside. LOL

OH yes.. a saint isn't a saint without a keg. We have a wonderful cooperage in town. He makes barrels etc for movies and is the cooper for Silver Dollar City. He is in all the advertisements.
Whend my first saint was a puppy he made a wee little keg on a lathe sort of like a key chain and she would wear it to parades and grandma's house. My breeder just cringed. LOL
Have a few oak ones on the mantle.
Kitties snore?? Wow.!!
Let's see if we can get gals from all over the US to help with the Women of the Wild West road trip.

Thinking we will leave early a.m. on Friday and get there that evening. It is at least a 9 hour drive for us.

So i talked to the mister, and he seems ok with me going, and it will be a good diversion with my daughter just leaving for the Army. You know how sad I am going to be? Texas, here we come!

This is great ladies. I think our new chapter (about 9 ladies) would be thrilled for our first road trip to be a meet up with ladies from other chapters to see this exhibit and all that the DFW area has to offer. Please keep me posted on the planning. As it stands are we talking about the first weekend in April?
