PattiAnn,

Sounds like a sweet idea! Not sure exactly what kind of products you are looking for. I make pillows for a baby's room that I hand stitch in a primitive-type stitch but can alter that to be any type of font. They say things like "Sweet Baby Girl", "Our Sweet Baby" "Grandma's Girl/Boy" - very generic so that they appeal to many. I can stitch them to say anything. You can view them at www.thestitchincoop.etsy.com.
Can you give us a better idea what what you are looking for? Are you thinking more about invites, paper goods, and table idea?

Thanks, Melanie

The packages will include everything one would need to "put on" a particular celebration. Example: Wedding....hand poured candles, doilies to set them on, tableclothes, table decor items from place settings to a center piece....etc. If you have something or can come up with something of interest to add to these packages upon review...it would be another great way to direct people to your personal farmgirl site!

I work alot with pregnant women when I teach prenatal yoga and oftentimes have made them herbal sitz baths or belly stretch mark cream (which I call Buddha Belly. That would be nice for Baby Shower in a box since people always focus on the baby and not the mommy to be. I also have a very gentle castille and honey/goats milk soap that I often sell to moms with young ones. Let me know if any of this tickles your fancy.
Ill keep the wheels turning to see if I come up with anything else.

Cant wait til the site launches. Ive been talking it up a ton.

Hand stitched baby pillows and Mommy/Baby goodies....exactly what I am looking for ladies! Within the next month I will be requesting each farmgirl interested to submit their product for review.....that is send me a sample. Since this will be in the "signature" line I will be looking for a certain quality and ability to deliver in quantity. For each "box" there will be a certain variety of items to choose from....with several color and design options. Customer will choose amount needed and all farmgirls notified of their order. The "box" is figurative in that they would fill up their "box" but actual delivery would come from many at that point but within a certain time frame. I will heavily rely on these particular farmgirls due to this being a part of the new sites integrity as a whole.....so be prepared for extra pressure if you so choose to want to be selected!

God Bless You!

You've got my wheels turning! Do you have a ball park date by which you'd like to see some ideas? The later the better! Gives us all more think time.

Just a thought to add...
Hows about a R & R box full things to use for rest and relaxation !

Personal indulgence items like bubble-bath, bath teas, soaps, treats, tea, a journel- I have seen a few fgs making theses, Etc,
All wrapped up in a lacy PJ bag or something like it.

I made up a gift like this for our daughter when she had our 1st GBabie, the baby was getting lots of gifts and I didn't want her to feel UN important! Needless to say she felt loved that we thought of her also.

Hi All,

The heavens know we all have lots going on but my mind never stops. If you can use the idea, wonderful!! Everyone can feel free to use the idea... make some up and add them to your blog or website. I willl only hope they help your sales : ))

I use to have a floral shop and came up with lots of useful gifts in a basket. The R & R type can be as simple as a hand knit pair of socks or slippers and some nice lotion, bag it, ie. wrap it up in tissue and put in a bag and you have a gift! Quick but very thoughtful!

P.S. More Skirts & slips coming soon. Thanks for looking !!!!

Hugs,

CJ.....Yes....all products reviewed will be returned...no problem! Thank you!
Cindy....I, also, think that is a great idea for farmgirls to use....packaging things up creatively always puts the work out of it for a customer. I will be ordering my skirt soon!

God Bless You!

Hi Patti Ann,
I hope I am not getting too far ahead of things here with this question. I have been wondering about labeling things for the farmgirl U.S.A. site.
Will we use our name or a number on the tags...?

I would love your input on this.

Hugs,

Okay, so every farmgirl vendor will get a roll of FarmgirlproductsUSA logo stickers to apply to every box sent. In addition, she will be able to purchase personal business cards, tags, hats, tshirts, bumper stickers....ect...to promote her farmgirl site. We will be marketing extensively on the whole and then expect that everyone would do an individual job of it, also.(My son, Robert, loves to put in these funny faces if he can!)
Anyhoo....there will be plenty advertising tools to pick from in order to create the customer base all of us are looking for!(Robert says "hi!")

God Bless You!

Being a yoga teacher and a farmgirl I totally excited about the R&R box. I just produced a half hour beginner yoga DVD that I can include. It's on my etsy site and also comes with a manual on how to do a home yoga practice.
I love the label idea for shipping and can't wait to order a tshirt. Will be perfect to wear at the farmers market and craft shows.

Farmgirl Jenn....its about time you taught us all to do yoga!heehee....I use to teach aerobics until they came out with step aerobics and it was all the rage...told my boss I wanted to just kick that thing the moon every time it got in my way...quit and took up running! Anyhoo, great job! My daughter told me to get it because she has always wanted to try.
Ya--the tshirts and hats will be made to order--example: FarmgirlproductsUSA but you can add your personal site address and name so one would know directly where to find you. It will be effective.

God Bless You!
