Update: Met yesterday with our web designers....we are having some research done around the shopping cart which will give us our options by Monday and construction of it immediately there after....taking two to three weeks to finish. All other pages are being designed meantime....like the inside farmgirl bio and product pages. We decided to make it more interesting and include personal design options for every farmgirls site....starting with three different color skin options and adding from there....like picket fences, picnic blankets, farm animals to add.....not too busy but just some flair is all. Terms and Conditions are being drafted with our lawyer this next week also......
so we are getting closer and closer Farmgirls!

God Bless You!

Hey farmgirls! I was supposed to have heard by now about some inside pages and the two shopping cart options....I guess there is a new one that is all the buzz! Anyway....leaving for Sunriver in Central Oregon but will be connected over there also. I will post our updates as I get them this next week. It is taking a little longer I know....but we have to get this right and we have found out that it is not so simple....programmers, designers, marketers, and a lawyer in the mix with our own personal opinions and well.....it is taking some time girls! Anyway....I will post soon....Tally Ho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless You!

You go girl!!! It is soooo important to get it the way you want prior to opening for business. It is so much harder later on. We will still be here waiting, so take the time needed to get'er done right!

Patti, CJ told me about this, I dont know how I managed to miss it but I was wondering about selling vintage items? I have not made anything for my etsy since the house fire but hope to again soon but in the meantime I have been selling alot of vintage items. So I thought I would check and just see if that would be an option. I think this is such a great idea and look forward to doing some shopping! Blessings,Karen

Karen.....yes!....there is a category just for vintage. What would the site be without all the wonderful nostalgic items we all so treasure from years past? Its all about reuse, repurpose and recreate! My son, Robert, is sitting with me at the moment and is wondering if you have chickens, Karen? He really loves Buff Orpingtons and has two named Tima and Birdie. Just go to the mini site http//:farmgirlproductsusa.com and send me your info through the contact page.
We are suppose to get the shopping cart options tomorrow and decide on which one we will use....and then from there its heavy programming on the hardesst part of this site.
Over in Central Oregon right now and just got back from fishing....caught one brook trout but were going for the big browns....nothing.Trying again tomorrow!

God Bless You!

I co-lead the Northern Oregon Farmgirls and we are having a pillowcase swap right now so I went into some fabulous antique malls the other day to try and find some oldies....and boy did I ever....got a couple for myself, too! Love vintage, gals.

Guess I will stick to trying to tell you how great your stand is this way, I just had to delete your own picture from trying to reply to it! LOL Your stand is awesome and I would love to steal your idea if you don't mind. :) I'm on the other side of the USA so there isn't any competition from me. I'm new to MJF but I would love to be included in your website and would be more than willing to put a link to it on mind when I finish it. I am in the process of making a new one and took my old one down just last week.

My current "shop" is www.thedewhopinn.etsy.com and for those bunny lovers I have a chat site at www.thedewhopinn.ning.com

Rene...thanx so much for your continuing support on this forum and your blog. You are a dear, sweet gal.
Ginny...one of my favorite names! I loved this older lady like she was my own grandmother and she passed away three years ago. Her favorite quote was "If you cant take care of yourself...you cant take care of others". She was always sooo concerned about everyone and how they were feeling. I miss her! Anyhoooo, why yes you may take my idea and run with it farmgirl! I have several stands in my area that I stop at all the time for this or that....you begin to count on them like your local store for things. I really like your goods for sale and invite you to go to my mini site http://www.farmgirlproductsusa.com and sign up on the contact page. Send me your information and I will send you a sneak peak of the homepage! It is going live in August at this point......so get ready!

God Bless You!

So, of course I am thinking all the time about how to make this site ever so dynamic and fun....and one of the ideas I want to try out besides everyone elses products!....is putting together four celebrations "in a box"........Farmgirl Wedding in a Box, Farmgirl Bday in a Box, Farmgirl Potluck in a Box, and Farmgirl Baby Shower in a Box. I am looking to add as many Farmgirl products to these designer decorating packages as possible. They would include most everything one would need to put on a Farmgirl celebration. If you think anything you are good at making fits one of these venues let me know....email me and we will chat! Thanx Farmgirls! The site is still in full swing.

God Bless You!
