Update: We are going International! We will start with Canada and then Europe...South America...Asia...etc. Come to find out there are farmgirls all over the globe who are interested in being a part of this. USA is the first phase though and then comes Canada to get our feet a little wet with different shipping protocals. I know Etsy went International this year and so some of you might be very familiar with all that by now anyway....no matter....there will be no lack of support for the vendor. I also added Farmer Chef Rex....my husband, the ultimate chef....to the front page in order to feature one-two-three farmgirl products in a monthly recipe for all to try. I twisted his arm a little...maybe alot but he agreed! Eventually, we will be opening a Farmgirl Products USA retail store here in Portland, Oregon...I will probably end up buying half of my stock!....but just so long as I am supporting a farmgirl right? I can now justify my shopping a little easier...heeheehee. One product I have used daily for months now is Daylns Hick Chick soap and love it. I now need a steady supply. Anyway, its just getting more fun!

PattiAnn, Just curious, could I sell a service? I am gluten intolerant and eat a celiac Sprue diet. This is a diet for people who are allergic or have reactions to wheat, oats, barley, and rye. I have published a cookbook dealing with gluten. I have eaten this way for over 10 years. I am reading that celiac is diagnosed more than ever and people don't know how to shop, eat, or cook for the disease/condition. I have the answers and would like to sell information to make their life easier. My information has been compiled for over 11 years. I can save families and moms tons of grief and time. I have references if needed. Can I do it on your website? By the way, I am a farm wife with 35 years of farm experience and love it! |

Kem..are you asking to sell your cookbook? You can do that... or sell products made by you that address this condition specifically. Does that answer your question? Susan..glad you can join! I emailed you!

Patti Ann, I would possibly like to sell an updated cookbook, but also information giving best products available that are gluten free, lists of meds that have gluten, how to shop at the local grocery store and what to buy, what products are availble at health foods store and for instance, which brand of bread is the best to buy, etc. All of this is marketable because when I found out I could not eat wheat, oats, barley or rye I would have paid dearly to find someone I could hire as a coach to teach and inform me. I don't think everyone should have to reinvent the wheel. I have experienced the struggles newly diagnosed celiacs are going to face. I would be selling answers, plus a possible cookbook. At this point just looking at options and restrictions. |

Kem....very interesting and valuable....have to think about this one. We are just deciding on terms and conditions and have to mull over whether we would allow services to post. The cookbook coupled with information as one item would be one thing.... along with other handmade, homecooked items would be another. I will let you know as soon as we finalize our draft! I have no doubt your information would save many people alot of angst!

Thanx for your information gals! Had to go with a new logo according to some strong opinions that the hat was too holly hobbiesh...is that a word?!!!...and so we took my sisters logo and had the graphic designer work up this straw hat instead with some warmth to the cheek area. This means the home page will final this week because we were waiting on that....there are so many little particulars sometimes. Whew! We plan on switching the hats up when we go International...so the girls hat wiil change up traditionally specific to that country which will make it dynamic and fun. Stay tuned!

Hey farmgals! I will be posting the finalized homepage to all vendors this evening....giving you a sneak peak at what is to come! Theresa....got your information....and I thank you! Connie....you will be recieving an email this evening regarding the homepage....everything else flows from there. The shopping cart programming is next! We got put back a couple of weeks due to the logo change and some other graphic design details we just had to get right. Everything else should run like clock work!

Jenn....got your information and love your enthusiasm! Karrieann...thank you for directing a fellow farmgirl our way! Diane...I am so glad you like it! This week will find us in a business meeting on Wednesday getting the shopping cart all ironed out and starting to program. We are not using PayPal but looking at a model where the one customer transaction will result in both vendor and farmgirlproductsusa recieving payment at the same time. No fuss....more expensive to set it up this way but easier on all. The percentage taken will remain comparable to Etsy...I will let you know specifically after the meeting though. Gearing up to launch the Farmgirl Rocket!
