Awww... CJ. I'm praying for your sister and all the prayers you've asked, and I'm praying for you, too. Try to remember that what the mind cannot perceive the heart truly does feel. Kris is absolutely right. We had two friends who at two different times went through similar situations and when they recovered - because miracles DO happen, CJ - the stories they told about what they knew and understood when we thought they hadn't... it was simply amazing. I think our love really does pierce any veil that falls between us and those we love who are suffering and cannot communicate. Hang in there and just keep doing all those wonderful things you do. Your sister is SO blessed to have you, and I know in my heart that she knows how deeply she is loved! :) Hugs, Nini

Thanks girls, for the BD wishes for her and your encouragements!!!
It was a pretty good day overall. Her hubby spent a long time making her a special BD cake and it turns out tasty . . not so beautiful, but who cares!!!
There was a lot of the same "wailing and flailing" and difficulty through the day but it has been worse. I did get her to laugh a bit!!
So, tomorrow I'll go back for another 12 hour shift . . and the day will probably be different in some ways and not in others. But we will keep on keeping on!!!

I'm off today and tomorrow (we do Farmers Market on Saturday mornings), but I'll be back with sis on Monday and Tuesday. However, I am taking a bit of a vacation . . will be driving to Phoenix Tuesday evening to my daughter's and the we are off to Santa Barbara, CA to help work as crew members for the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer. That will keep us VERY, VERY BUSY Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Then back to Phx. on Monday the 13th. I plan to stay over until the 15th and then come back home . . back to work on the 17th.
So, it's a much needed break and I REALLY NEED time with my daughter . . my best girlfriend. It'll be loads of fun too . . and I'm going to walk in the ocean surf and get beach sand between my toes . . on top of the good ole Colorado garden/farm dirt!!!!

CJ it's so nice that you are going to get away for awhile. And do enjoy you wonderful and sweet DD. Daughters are a true blessing. I have a weekend coming up on the 19 where DD, DIl, and I are all going out for dinner for our birthday. We're all Virgo's. Do enjoy you time and take care.

Time with my daughter is priceless and we are having a great time.
However, Robin's car broke down and at a mechanics shop. We still don't know what's up and we know we will be delayed in returning home by at least one day.
VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! VERY PUZZLING!!!! And it costs money!!!
PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS SITUATION!!!!!

CJ, Praying the car is all better now. Glad you had a restful, fun time with your daughter - that is Priceless! Nothing can compare.
Love, love the photo of your sandy toes - you should do it up in black and white and frame it, especially the one of the two of you together. I think it would be a cool photo to display.

Car is fixed and it was minor. Unfortunately, the labor cost for troubleshooting was higher than we hoped . . but it was still an answer to prayer.
We made it back to Phoenix safe and sound. Robin back to work today, I was running errands. I will head back to MY home tomorrow in MY car and PRAYERS for that journey would be appreciated.
Back to work with my sister on Friday . . . I haven't talked to BIL but I'm sure if there were issues of increased concern I would know about them.
THANKS AGAIN!!! FOR ALL THE PRAYERS AND ENCOURAGEMENTS!!!

Home safe, some very annoying delays on trip, but nothing major.
I'm still kinda tired.
Back to work with my sis . . . no changes here. She couldn't tell me who she was, couldn't tell me who I was . . . nothing happening with cognition skills today. . .
