Well, the trip to Mexico is still planned. They received their passports yesterday. Brother-in-law is admitting concerns for this trip. . safety, being the only one with my sis to help her, etc.
I've responded in a very non-critical way but it's like shutting the barn doors after the horses are already out.
I will work four 12-hours shifts this next week with her. They plan to drive to Albuquerque, NM on the 13th, stay overnight and then fly to Texas the next day.
I know there are many folks with HUGE CONCERNS for this trip and this treatment which is still so controversial and unproven.
Soooooo, we just continue to pray them through this.

hadn't check in with you for awhile ceejay, and feel so bad for being negligent. Things have changed, I hope your long shifts with your sis will go o.k., and that you will be o.k. Also, you are right the Lord knows ALL about what is going on, and it's in his hands, but I'll say a prayer for you just the same....take good care of you my friend!!

Today I'm just whipped . . and I want to cry!!!
Trying to help them get some of their preparations done.
Please, please hold them up this next week. They will drive to Albuquerque, NM on Sunday, spend the night. Fly out to Texas on Monday . . her treatment is scheduled for Tuesday. They will stay there an extra day and fly back to Albuq. on Thursday and drive home on Friday.
REALLY, REALLY, REALLY NEED TO HOLD THEM UP!!!

CeeJay - This is the first time I have seen/read this account. I don't know if it could be harder. You are a Diamond in the making and I have a little bit of knowing how closely you MUST walk with the Heavenly Father. God bless you and keep you, shine His face upon you and give you peace - every day! If you had/have not been walking hand in hand or arm in arm with Him, you would not be who you are or doing what you are doing. It requires His aid or there would be failure. Thank you for your example. I also realize that there are things/attitudes you struggle with because of that walk. I will pray for those things.
One thing I wanted to tell you and I hope everyone who reads your story and rides a horse. This is why it is so all important to wear a helmet when riding a horse. I started wearing one to be a good example for other riders. (I run a horse camp ground) I first hated it and was embarrassed because others teased me quite bad. Then I had a serious fall - semi knocked out - we were very thankful I had a helmet on! If you think it won't happen to you......you are foolish!

They fly from Albuquerque to McAllen, Texas today with a stop in Dallas/Fort Worth. I just pray there are no incidents on the plane and that the Lord will give my sis peace so that she won't hollar, scream and flail about. If that happens it will be one nightmare on that plane . . . for everyone!!!! And that there will be no incontinence issues!!!
Since these are REGULAR, DAILY . . multiple times . . issues that we deal with I know how it usually is!

They are safe in Mission, Texas, checked into their hotel. Safe!
Sound! Thank you Lord!!!!
Some minor mishaps along the way but the Lord intervened . . .
They are to travel to the clinic in Progreso, Mexico tomorrow for treatment and back. Clinic is supposed to provide transportation for them. They will stay over the next day and make the journey back home on Thursday.
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! for praying them through TODAY and TODAY's travels!!!!!

CJ, I just read about your sister and all that has been going on -oh my - you and your family will definately be in my prayers, especially tomorrow for safe travel and treatment. Please take care of yourself too! The Lord will be with you through this minute by minute. I pray that He will hold you in His loving arms, and that you will feel His presence and peace that only He can give.

And, we THANK AND PRAISE THE LORD for HIS WORK TODAY!!!
Treatments done . . . went okay. Of course, the result remains to be seen and I understand that to be over a period of months.
They were at clinic in Mexico for about 2 1/2 hours.
Travel to and from Mexico apparently smooth and without glitches. I'm sure that being transported by the clinic staff helped make that go better.
Tomorrow is a day to rest, relax and "hang out" . . .
Then the THURSDAY FLIGHTS HOME . . . well, we'll need to REALLY pray then through that as well. BIL said tonight "that flying is kind of an ordeal" . . .hmmmmmmm. I tried to warn him!
Anyway, that's TODAY!!!
THANKS FOR PRAYERS FOR TODAY!!!!

Ruth . . to answer your question. My back comes and goes . . . some days it's totally not there, others not so. Today it is hurting, started last night before I went to bed. I'm not really sure what triggers it because it is SO inconsistent.
Yes, our God is an awesome God . . and He shows me His hand daily, minute by minute!!!

They are safely back in Albuquerque today, flying there from Texas and will stay overnight and drive home tomorrow. About 5 hr. drive home.
I won't see her until Monday but then I will have to work 4 days next week, 12 hr. shifts each day. It has been GOOD to have this week off because I have had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much other stuff needing done.
So, pray for safe drive tomorrow.
Pray for God's will in this treatment.
Pray for my brother-in-law to LET GO and LET GOD!!!!!! He REALLY needs to lay this all at the Throne and quit trying to "fix" her.
THANKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!! I will never, never, NEVER be able to express how much that is appreciated!!!!
