Here in CT, they call it "boo-ing". It comes up in the neighborhood from time to time.

Wow, great idea! Wonder if it could be revised for other holidays... like for Christmas... could it be called, "Tree-ing?" Not sure I like that... what would you call it? How about for Valentine's Day? Oh, and "Shamrocked" for St. Patrick's Day or "Showered" or "Egged" for Easter?

A neighbor of mine said they do it at Christmas and call it being ELFed. Too cute. Never did this but will next year. Halloween was a big deal up north when I was growing up. Now my daughter lives on a farm in NC and all my grandgirls do is "Trunk or treat." This will give us a little something extra fun. Thanks so much for the idea. Joey

I love this idea! As a child we left May baskets for friends Mayday became one of my favorite days of the year. I may become a ghoster next year : )
